Breakneck Tavern is an American restaurant with influences of Southern BBQ and Cajun foods. We are conveniently located on Route 228 in Mars, PA. Breakneck Tavern sits along the Breakneck Creek next to the railroad tracks in the valley that was once "nick
Let me say this 1st, I usually will write constructive reviews and tend to find something good about any dinning experiences. Unfortunately, not going to happen today! We are traveling to the Pittsburgh area for an Elite AAA Hockey Camp ay the Lemieux Center. We have been a little busy but today I wanted to get my wife something for lunch she would enjoy since it was our 17th Anniversary. She looked on Trip Advisor and found this restaurant and was really looking forward to a few items on the menu. This is where it gets good. As we are seated the wait staff (who was very nice) gave us the menus. Now here is when the rudeness begins! We notice the menu was a brunch menu. We didnât know if thatâs all they were serving or perhaps you could still order from the regular menu that my wife saw on-line. Well I thought I would nicely ask the ladies that checked us in at the door. Big mistake!! There was a middle aged lady we had not seen before standing there with the other younger staff who had been so nice to us! I had asked if it was possible to order from the main menu and this is where I was basically told in so many words Itâs there way or the highway! The attitude and body language the older lady confronted me with was terrible! Just not acceptable for anyone in the hospitality industry. Please remember our expectations were not set hi and all I wanted to do was have a nice family meal. As I asked this person if it would be possible she BARKED out only after 2:00 pm. I looked at my watch it was 1:20 and I said well maybe we can get a Bloody Mary and let us know when you can take our order? Once again with a terrible attitude she barked out 2:00pm. Not really sure what all the ânegativityâ was about but sure didnât need it! I fully understand that chefs change, kitchen needs to reset and all the functions it takes to run a successful restaurant but we were willing to take our time and once we had our drink it sure would have been close to 2:00pm and according to the extremely rude lady thatâs when we could order! I went back to the table and my wife asked me if this lady was for real! She looked at me, I looked at her and we got up and left immediately! So sad the young girls working there were sweet, the menu looked great but who needs to deal with a extremely negative, rude individual! Many nice restaurants to choose from in the area? Why, why, why!

We were driving by and decided to stop by for a late lunch. We were super glad we did! We found a great variety of beers, fun foods, and great service. The menu had a nice variety including a large selection of smoked items. The burger was delicious as well as the beans and potato salad. Our server, Ericka was knowledgeable about the beers and menu as well as extremely pleasant. Overall a great experience! We will be back.

Great beer list and excellent burgers, sandwiches and fries. Very informal, with a good bar. Great place to kick back and relax
Stopped into Willees for the first time after a round of golf at the nearby Pittsburgh North course. Willee's looks like kind of a dive from the outside, but on the inside it is definitely nicer than I expected. It wasn't very crowded when I went in and being alone I sat at the bar. The bartender was friendly without being intrusive, and made sure I had everything I needed. I ordered a burger and some wing dings and they were both very good. The prices were very reasonable as well. They also had an open air seating area that was covered, pretty cool. Overall I was very pleased with my experience at Willee's and would definitely return.

If you can imagine, loud, unattractive, below average food, you get the drift. I asked the bartender if _ALL_ of the numerous TV's were sports-related and he told me, yes, and that decision was a corporate matter. The staff, for the most part, is young, inexperienced, and we won't even get into conversation about the food. I can't imagine returning.

The OTB Bicycle Cafe is great after spending an active day in North Park. We went here after our Go Ape Course adventure. We sat outside and it had a beautiful view of the lake with plenty of people kayaking and paddle boarding on it as we ate. It was fun to watch the water activities. We had the spring rolls, a burger + fries and the buffalo chicken wrap (I think it's called the Rachel Carson)? The food was good and our service that day was fine.

Telephone 724-444-7333This is a relatively new Atria's
The Hungry Detective and family have dined at Atrias on several occasions since my sister lives close by and itâs always solid and consistent. Erica our server was awesome and provided wonderful service and insight into the area and the great menu of options...kudos to Erica!!!Chef Shawn prepared a special bowl of penne pasta with vodka sauce that rocked and it was as good as my Italian grandmother used to make...sometimes simple is truly better. The burgers were cooked to perfection on a fresh brioche bun. Salads were fresh and crisp. Check our Atrias!!!VERDICT: Executive Chef Shawn knows food and has wonderful table side manner which you do not see everyday in the food industry. Guilty of doing it right!!!
