A traditional town center pub dating back to the 1600's. Serving a great selection of cask ale, wine and spirits, and home cooked food. A warm welcome and a friendly relaxed atmosphere. A large secluded beer garden. Dogs always welcome
Loved this place. Very warm welcome, polite staff and good quality beers. Old style quiz machine with ânutsâ game! Took me back lol. Visited a couple of times for drinks. Didnât eat, but food looked and smelt good!
We believe that everyone should be able to eat out for less. Serving up breakfast, brunch, grazers, lunch and so much more - get together at Cookhouse + Pub!
We stayed two nights at the Premier Inn attached. The first morning, I was looking forward to the sourdough crumpets which they advertised on the menu. I asked if they had any and unfortunately was told no. The toast was fine though, and the pain au chocolate was delicious along with the selection of fruit on offer. My family embraced the cooked breakfast and absolutely loved it! Especially my 6 foot going on 29 foot 14 year old brother with his plate full of bacon and sausage. Believe me, he lives for those kinds of breakfasts. We ate there for dinner in the evening and again really good value 2 meals for £8.99. Couldn't complain really, again the brother appreciated the 2 slices of garlic bread with his double up smothered chicken dish! At breakfast this morning, I asked again if they had any crumpets and the manager explained that the factory had burned down. Ah what a shame I thought, so I started helping myself to some toast and fruit again when the manager came over and said he had some crumpets! Giant crumpets and small ones as well! He had gone to the Coop to get some and put them out for guests. It really shows that the staff do go that extra mile and it was really appreciated. Thanks from all of us

Record shop and bar, selling mainly second hand vinyl and CD's. Serving a selection of drinks including real ale, continental beers, wines, spirits and coffee.
Not been in for a while but upon my return Iâve been told that Paul and two other members of staff have either been sacked or left ..... just a note to the owners âGET THEM BACKâ before your business there is finished once and for all

The Railway in Skipton is a bar/pub, restaurant and Bed & Breakfast. We serve a range of traditional cask ales, draft, spirits and a good wine list. We have several tables as well as bar stools and we're popular with both locals and visitors alike. Our fo
As the name suggests, this establishment is very close to Skipton station and I called in when I had plenty of time to wait for a train. I am glad that I did - received a warm welcome in cosy, friendly surroundings. Drinks choices were good and they have a very inviting looking menu. I would definitely return here and thank you to the staff for making me feel at home.

My wife and stayed at the Inn for 2 nights. Whilst I was not able to give a good review for the accommodation my experience of the restaurant was completely the opposite. From the waiting staff to the excellent food we were extremely impressed. My wife had the lamb on both nights and thoroughly enjoyed it on both occasions. I had the fish platter and liver on the second night. Once more these were cooked to perfection. The breads on arrival were a lovely touch. The staff were extremely attentive without ever being intrusive.Well what a review THANK YOU and we look forward to welcoming you again soon! I shall certainly pass on your comments to our team! The accommodation review well we shall leave that for you to judge yourself dear readers! As you have said Mr J you will return! Great stuff we look forward to seeing you soon!Veronica and the team

Set in the stunning Broughton estate, you'll find us traditional in style with open fires; flagged stone floors; good old furniture and lots of rugs and plants. Internally, the bar sits at the heart of things with an array of cask ales, shelves full of gi
My partner and I have eaten here twice (second time to try again) as everyone seems to rave about it. We wonât return. Both times the service has been poor - had to sit and wait for ages before our food order was taken and both times, we had empty drinks glasses and no-one asked if we wanted another drink or how the food was. Food... watery, bland gravy steak pie served in dish with cheap oven chips. Pork steak (apparently cooked to medium as per the menu but we noticed this has been taken off) was cooked well done. A requested medium cooked steak which was rare. Always loads of staff there but no-one seeming to be doing anything, hard to get their attention to ask for extra drinks or condiments. Atmosphere, itâs lovely outside in the beer garden which does have a good atmosphere but inside itâs dull and quiet. Itâs overpriced and underwhelming. Itâs almost like theyâve built up a good reputation (as years ago it was excellent) and theyâre happy living on that - no effort on maintaining or improving. When really it needs looking at, especially the chefs.
