Stopped by this brew pub restaurant after visiting the nearby Maine Narrow Gauge Railroad Museum and before returning on a late afternoon Amtrak train. Despite our group having reservations, we were elate seated, and the food we order was late being delivered. We had to hastily repack everything to go to catch our ride to the train station, so most of our food was cold by the time we opened it up on the train. I gather the food is tasty when still served hot, but not a good experience overall.

We ate here recently for lunch having been there several years ago. I ordered the scallop special on the board for $23 which was only 6 scallops fried and tasteless! I took off the batter to make it a little healthier, although the board did say fried. the french fries were fried in something that was not tasty and I only ate a few. For the price and only 6 scallops it was a real disappointment! My husband had the full bellied clams and he said they were okay. His clam dish was $20. Also included was a small bowl of clam chowder which was just okay. Won 't be eating here again.

Little Tap House is a craftbeer gastropub with a farm-to-table menu offering an ever changing seasonally inspired menu. Opened in March of 2013 by a mother - daughter team; Lee Goyette and Brianna Jaro have transformed the space at 106 High Street into a
Just got a spicy Bloody Mary and no food, since I didn't feel like having brunch. The drink was very good. I looked over the menu and saw that their house burger is $17, with $1.00 extra for cheese, and no sides except for housemade 'chips' -- that's the most expensive burger I've seen yet, at least in the Portsmouth to Portland corridor. Maybe it's worth it. They have a really nice selection of Maine craft drafts and some nice cocktails. Cozy and classy atmosphere, good service.

Serving Outstanding Pub Fare from 11AM â 10:30PM Daily Andyâs Old Port Pub is a waterfront watering hole frequented by tourists, islanders, fishermen, music lovers and locals. A tricky little Pub to find. Andyâs menu includes the freshest of fish & chips;
Their sign out front says they have the best lobster rolls. I disagree with that statement but they were pretty good. I have had much better but they were decent. A little tough and not all that tasty but ok. A little better than just average but a little less than very good. Sorry we tried! Thank you for trying Andy's Old Port Pub. And thank you for the four stars even though we didn't live up to your expectations. Andy's uses only the most tender knuckle and claw meat - and only Maine lobster - on real butter-grilled rolls. Ours are traditional Maine lobster rolls - so don't compare us to the restaurants using fancy buns and herbs. The fancy buns and herbs are lobster creations - and the are also delicious - but they're not the traditional Maine lobster roll. Thank you again for stopping in.

The Bear bustled on a mid-summer weekend. Parking was curbside. After only a brief wait, we got a cozy four-person booth instead of a table or bar-side. Lighting was dim, but not at all romantic. We got good service, not great. Our table had full condiments, beer lists, drink lists, and menus. The beer list alone had 80 choices, most brewed in New England. From a wide-ranging menu, we chose haddock and burger plates. Burger was served naked, except for its blue cheese dressing â a disappointment. It was dry, not juicy â also a disappointment. Haddock came with coleslaw as a dressing, not as a side dish â a surprise. Our sides of fries were fast-fried slabs of potato â also a surprise. By contrast, our drinks were just what weâd hoped theyâd be. We enjoyed the Bearâs unique, laid-back, hip atmosphere, its whimsical décor, and its amazingly varied drinking options. We'll be back again someday.

If you want to try different beers, especially German, with a huge selection, you need to stop by. It is off the beaten path and has mostly picnic tables for seating inside as well as outside when the weather is nice. The food menu is limited but the pretzels were delicious as was the grilled cheese. The banh mi sandwich was just OK as was their bratwurst. It has a cellar vibe and great local place to stop in for a drink.

Beer and Sausage. The two things we do best. Paring our house-made sausages with the best Maine-made beer we can find.
Went on a busy Saturday lunch time, simple ordering system, delicious hot dogs and great beers. Couldn't be better!

Irish Themed family Pub & Restaurant
I am not sure when this place changed; I believe that it was called Reilly's not that long ago. It has apparently changed hands, as the place has been reconfigured into a pub/ restaurant in one large space.Great food, great service( breakfast). We had basic breakfast ( eggs, bangers, Benedict, etc..) all good and reasonably priced. Coffee never went dry. I will be a regular !

This is one of Falmouthâs newest family-friendly dining experiences. Our party of four got exceptional service throughout our visit. The menu featured soups, salads, and sandwiches and much more. The hot chicken wings appetizer and the club sandwich were great. Wall-mounted TVs displayed a wide range of sports and other shows. A casual and family-friendly ambiance made it well worth a visit. Ample free parking was available onsite. We liked nearly everything about this place and look forward to our next visit.
