Itâs been a few years since we visited. Iâm happy to share that parking is stIll free. The crowd is relaxed. My companion enjoyed the best And leanest Reuben in the city, and the beer was great. Everything was reasonably priced too. We highly recommend Honest Johns. No question about it!

Went there after the famous âslow rollâParking lots are available but on the most you have to pay with app or credit card. There is nice large patio to sit outside. We ordered different beers and enjoyed them all. We tried also different Pizza but the comments were from ok till good. Some seem not long enough in oven others close to be burned. Friendly service and staff.

Visited before a Tigers game and was surprised to easily get a table - restaurant was definitely busy but lot of table options. Food was good, beer was great! Tons of craft beers @ really great prices, try the Sour 60/40 and the Detroit Dwarf. Food was good - a few good burger options, delicious fries on the side, pizza was excellent! Would definitely be back again before a game or when visiting the city!

Cornerstone Barrel House is a locally owned American restaurant and whiskey gastropub in the heart of Detroit, MI. We feature fresh local food and serve a variety of special bourbon and whiskey drinks. We have a strong rustic feel that hits you as soon as
Went with larger group to that restaurant, guests tried different food and drinks. The general feedback was very good. Especially the salads were ranked high. Fish & Chips crispy. Some nice beers on tap. For larger group (~10)there is only very limited options, so reservation is mandatory.

We found this place by accident and it was great! We had a family of 5 tried so many appetizers and when our meals came we ended up taking it home. We got pretzels, deep fried pickles, spinach/artichoke dip, brussels sprouts. Great assortment of drinks and food. Can't wait to go back & try more. Lots of fun and its a very unique place!

The pub combines several great passions of mine: Detroit Community, Food and Architecture. Fortunately, this combination has allowed us to grow without turning into a corporate machine. We werenât funded or financed, and we are continually evolving and le
This is cool old bar with character. Bigger than it first appears. Bartenders worth both very good as attentive but not bugging you. One laid back and one cracking jokes and fun(goofing around but pro). Loved atmosphere and scene in bar as easy going. Large beer selection on draft and bottled. Something for everyone. This was a great stop as food was ordered all over and drinks with fair prices for downtown. A must stop and would go again.

130 Craft beer taps, scratch-made food your mom would make if she loved craft beer and live entertainment in the Huma Room, our second floor venue.
We had dinner on a Friday night before going to the Detroit Symphony down the street at Orchestra Hall. The place was packed! It didnât take that long to get a table, but it took 1/2 hour to get the food. While we did arrive on time for the concert I would never try this combination again.Decorations are great: lots of good pictures from rock bands, nicely framed. The 2nd floor gives you a nice view of downtown Detroit and it has a stage for live music. Had the pulled pork sandwich: very flavorful. We also tried the chicken tacos: good, a bit too spicy for my taste. There is parking available. And the Detroit Q-Line stops right in front of the restaurant.

After a bit of shopping in the Corktown area we stopped in at this nearby brewery. It had nice outdoor seating. Inside was comfortable bench seating. Many different brews to choose from with samples available. The food menu had some classic choices with surprising twists. And we were able to take some bottled beer home.

This bar has the best burgers in Detroit. Freshly made, juicy , big and delicious. The French fries are hand cut , hot, and delicious. Prices are extremely reasonable. Wait staff are friendly and courteous. The atmosphere is inviting and friendly. Have been here many times and always enjoyed my meal. A definite visit when in Corktown.

Itâs been a few since we last visited this space on the skirts of SW Detroit. Iâm elated to report that the cheap, EXCELLENT food and interesting, local brews are still great. We sat at the bar. Our server was friendly and incredibly efficient. Know that youâll likely be ordering 3 to 6 items to complete your meal since everything comes decidedly single serve. Four rotating taps and a fairly large bottle selection of cold beer are available as well as crafted cocktails, liquor and a few wines by the glass.
