We chose El Alma randomly because it had a rooftop patio. We had to wait nearly an hour but weren't in a hurry so it didn't really matter. We were able to sit on the multi-level rooftop patio and really enjoyed the view of the Austin skyline, good food and good drinks. Our waiter seemed annoyed to be there but maybe he'd had a bad day. It didn't keep us from having fun.

This restaurant is an Austin staple, close to the Texas State Capitol. It is Austin cool and wierd. There are fun signs all over the place.I really like the frito pie, the baked potatoes, the salads with sliced olives, and the venison chili. The prices are very reasonable and the menu has a good variety of yummy options.

Fine Dining and cocktail lounge
Recommend by a local, we sat at the bar which was a full library of spirits. The bartenders really knew their products and science to a great cocktail. The fig Manhattan was Devine. In addition an amazing menu. A scratch kitchen and the owner came to check the quality of the food and him employees. Canât wait to go back.

decided on this establishment having wandered up and down 6th St trying to decide on a place to sit, have a beer and something to eat. At the Lazarus Brewing Co. we had a selection of tacos and chips and guacamole and all washed down with a local pale ale. Happy to consider going there again.

Come visit and experience the true feel of Ireland and the "Craic"(Fellowship and Fun) of your own local Irish Pub, in the heart of Austin's 6th Street Entertainment District. B.D. Riley's is not part of some national chain-for almost 15 years we've been
BD Riley's was an OK Irish style pub on Sixth Street. We stopped here on a weeknight after dinner, and not surprisingly, it wasn't very busy. The overall décor of the place definitely invoked a traditional Irish pub feel. We only had drinks here. The whiskey selection was OK; I guess we were spoiled by selections available in Ireland :). There was a good beer selection on tap. Overall, the biggest problem was that our server was completely inattentive during our entire visit, despite the slow evening. We had to wait a very long time for drink refills.I'd be willing to go back, but probably not as a priority. Thanks for stopping in and for sharing your feedback. So sorry you received inattentive service--that is certainly not our standard and we apologize. As for whiskeys, we try to please with 44 offerings, including 19 Irish Whiskeys, 15 Scotches and 11 Bourbons/Ryes in addition to 24 draught beer selections. Hope to see you again.

Easy Tiger features artisan bread (including baguettes, croissants, pretzels), locally roasted coffee, housemade meats (sausages, corned beef, pastrami), a patio whiskey bar and more than 30 local and boutique draft beers.
I went here prior to retiring to my adjacent hotel for the evening, and was very glad I did! Easy tiger has some great outdoor seating options, but I went inside (and downstairs) to the bar area. In short, this place definitely has a "dive bar" feel to it; however, what a fantastic beer selection on tap, and very knowledgeable staff behind the bar! On top of that, they have a selection of baked goods available and a limited menu. My timing was perfect to order a very fresh, large baked pretzel with beer cheese! Overall, I liked this place, and hope to return.

I don't think the maitre d equivalent had the right personality/skills for the job - was rather dour and seat assignment was a mystery. From there someone will come along in a while and take your meal order and then after another lengthy wait someone else will come along and serve it. It just didn't seem that joined up.

Stella San Jac offers eclectic Southern cuisine that embodies the music, flavors and culture that define Austin.
In the lobby of the Westin Hotel, Stella San Jac was an excellent choice for our group dinner. The appetizers were excellent, and each of our meals was incredible. The cocktail list was also enticing. Each of our party of five enjoyed the entire meal, with a very good server. The desserts were probably the weak spot...they sounded good, but weren't up to expectations. Having said that, the dinner is fantastic, and I would recommend.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Matt! We're glad to hear that your entire group enjoyed your dining experience. Our teams will be thrilled to hear your positive comments regarding the food, cocktails, and overall service. We hope to serve you again in the future!Cheers,Moby MirGeneral Manager

The latest of several visits, this location is perfect for before/after Paramount/Stateside shows. The menu is varied, basic American fare, the wine list is fine, prices reasonable and the food consistently good. Service has always been great, but on this visit, outstanding. Recommend both of the Austin locations.

Came here multiple times on a recent trip to Austin. This is definitely a classier place than other spots on 6th Street. The servers were friendly and helpful, they knew the menu and were able to recommend a beer or food item based on your tastes. Their selection of local craft beer is amazing. They have a rotating beer selection (which is not included in the Happy Hour, FYI) and then their standard beers that they always have. The Bison Burger was great, maybe a little overcooked for Bison, but still a good burger. The Lollipop Corn Dogs were good, but it's a small portion, only four small corn dogs and a the huge portion of spicy porter mustard, left me wanting more corn dogs. The Mac and Cheese Bites pack some heat with Fresno Chilis in the mix. Finally the Truffle Cheese Fries were just excellent! I highly recommend this place!
