The village pub where you can wash away the dust of everyday life and enjoy great pub fare.
Doug's Pub is a lot more than just "pretty good." As a matter of fact, it's great! He offers a great selection of beers (8 on tap--pilsener, pale ales, IPAs) and your standard bottled beers (Bud, Coors, etc), an extensive selection of Kentucky, local and western bourbons, single malt scotches, seven types of Tequilas, Irish and "just plain old whiskey" (quotation marks mine). The burgers and French fries are super. You have a choice of eight different types of burgers (I had the Breakfast Burger--half pound of juicy fresh ground beef w/bacon and sunny-side up fried egg on toasted English muffin, with golden brown French fries!--WOW!) If you don't want a burger, there are eight other menu items to choose from--BLTs to hot dogs to chicken wings to shrimp and red cabbage tacos. Something for everyone!Diner's in Doug's Pub enjoy a comfortable and friendly atmosphere--authentic pub ambience. Amber, the Day Manager, does an excellent job ensuring that all of the diners' appetites and thirsts are satisfied.I highly recommend Doug's Pretty Good Pub because of the excellent choice of beers, large, tasty and satisfying burgers and French fries, excellent service, and true pub ambience. It doesn't get much better than Doug's!

Newburgh Brewing is one of our favorite destinations. Located on the top floor the view of the river is amazing and the wide open space has something for everyone. You can go there during the day with your family and hang out while having a couple of beers as they have cornhole, fooseball, and tons of board games for the kids. Or, you can go at night and have a great time. Very large tv for watching a game and huge long tables so there is plenty of room. Great place!

Whilst visiting from England Came to cold springs with our friend who had been here before and came here for lunch and was not disappointed. Great restaurant right next to the railway station. I had the garden burger and fries which was delicious. Our waiter Thomas was great . Quick service and great food.

I like this place. A local private business, no chain atmosphere. Basic bar food, very good prime rib special. I liked it. I really enjoyed the wings, crispy, hearty. Our Service was over the top, our bartender was Super Great, our server was fast, quick and attentive. Plant of parkingIf your looking for a clean, local tavern with nothing fancy this is your place. The decor is dated, don't let that throw you off. There are the typical local patrons at the bar, all we found friendly. Stop by for a beer

Food is ok? at best and drinks are cheap. When here keep it short and simple because it will just tack onto your wait time.
We go to Shamrock whenever the mood strikes for some good beer and delicious chicken wings. They have about 12 beers on draft, many of them micro brews and they have a pretty good rotation going. They've also remodeled the place so its much more spacious. There's a pool table, darts and that old school bowling game with the puck and sawdust.

Located at the historic Storm King Golf Club-one of the 100 oldest courses in America. We have panoramic views of Black Rock Forest and offer American food with European accents in either our grill room, newly decorated dining room or our beautiful terrac
A delightful surprise!!! We were recently invited to a Sunday lunch at Storm King Tavern - and we were absolutely not disappointed!!!Our leisurely lunch was mainly pub fare, but our choices were well prepared and delicious. Even though the we sat inside - as it was raining- the spectacular view was a lovely complement to our meal!

I stopped here on a friday night when my wife was out of town. Had a drink and decided to brave the dinner menu. I was pleasantly surprised by the burger with sweet potato fries. The food was very good and the chef checked on if i was happy or not. Seems to be a local hang out with small tables. Not great for large group, but i will definitely stop in again...nice surprise.
