This has got to be our favourite local for a Sunday roast. We usually chose the second sitting at 3 as that suits us better. Everything is great and fresh and your plate is not piled high. We have also been here midweek with friends for lunch. All in all a great little pub which now has a great lunchtime menu.

Went in for a meal bar area most tables full and 3 people waiting at the bar. One person there only. Asked waitress if any room in Restaurant and she checked and had a table available. Restaurant not that full but large table looking at menus. Only two other tables full. After a while she had not taken the order of the other table or given us menus. Politely asked if she was on her own to which she confirmed and thanked her but said we had a lunch hour and felt service would be slow. As proceeded out heard that the person at the bar Sam was a deputy manager. Explained the position and asked him if there was any staff. He replied was waiting for them and canât you see how hard Iâm working youâre just have to be patient in a rude manner.Service has no priority here it appears and this deputy manager cannot be doing his job as canât even staff the place or be civil.

An excellent meal after a day out. it was a nice warm evening so we sat outside.The outside seating area is very nice with the late sun shining over the table.The food was very tasty and plenty of choice for everyone.The service was a little slow but we didn't mind as we weren't in a rush.We will visit again definitely.Rossijam,Your wonderful feedback and rating mean a lot to us. We met friends here for a lunch - taking our Cockapoo Stanley with us. it's so nice to go where dogs are not only welcomed but really accommodated. Staff were very friendly and service was good. Nice Sunday roast, everything was delicious. Only thing Iâd say that disappointed us was our starters that seemed to be bought in, not made on site. Mozzarella sticks in particular seemed like something youâd get in McDonaldâs. But service was efficient, our large dog was very welcome and Sunday lunch set menu a reasonable price.
