This very quaint restaurant/pub was just fabulous. We were staying close and were tired , so chose a place very close. I was not expecting much but was totally overwhelmed with the warmth and hospitality of all of the staff. Our four dinners were all fabulous. Sorry, forgot to take pics on this one. Short recap.....steak tips, bbq chicken breast, ribs, buffalo wrap. We were all very pleased. Price was sooo reasonable. If you i the neighborhood, give it a whirl, would love to hear of your personal experience. Ours was great.

What would you expect after a very long walk on a sunny day? Well a beer of course. But if youre gluten intollerant there is no hope for you. Unless you stop at the Blackmoor and get a pink cider. Yes pink. Guess what, this cider and the great chowder, made my day!

Reputedly Boston's oldest pub. It is very noisy when busy, TV screens everywhere and not the place we would go to to enjoy a meal. However, good place for a quick pitstop and to enjoy some local beer.

After reading many positive TripAdvisor reviews we stopped here on a Saturday afternoon. There was only one other party in the place. Service was fine. I must admit that the clam chowder was very good, but thatâs about it. My son had a cheeseburger that was ok served with soggy fries. I had the shepherds pie which lacked flavor. I would hope that some of the other Irish pubs in the area would be able to top this one.

this restaurant is situated in a large area of shops and a welcome oasis in the middle of a shopping expedition. the physical space is attractive with ample seating. the menu offers a range of options, but relatively few vegetarian selections. the meal started off on the wrong footing - water was delivered to the table, but the 13-year-old in the group asked what was floating in his water!!! it looked like a small insect!!! when we informed the waiter that the water appeared contaminated, he thought we were kidding and asked if he should bring another one! duh?the food was at best mediocre. it was attractively presented, served piping hot, a definite plus. but all of the food was too heavily salted - i suppose this makes sense if you are drinking one of the many beer offerings. the food was actually okay but not in any way remarkable.this would not be my first choice in the future.

Emmet's Irish Pub and Restaurant located at 6 Beacon Street Boston is one of the most authentic Irish Pubs in Boston, serving authentic Irish food along with Guinness and a large and diverse beer and wine list to choose from to compliment your meal.
Was with colleagues that left another restaurant after 45 minutes of inattention (different review) and came here. I had scouted this one before getting to Boston and recommended this as our plan B that night. Very happy with the outcome...most had the lobster mac and cheese which looked terrific, and I had a very tasty fish and chips. Staff was accomodating of our sudden large group and friendly. Prices were very reasonable by Boston standards. Definitely recommend!

We were in sports bar territory. We certainly found the pick of the bunch. this restaurant offers more I think than any other, the memorabilia, the atmosphere, screens in the restaurant, all added towards the evening service. It was excellent food, an absolutely brilliant time and we definitely go again.

Ciara (not sure although how to write her name) was awesome attending us. She was smiling, super friendly and gave us the attention that make the difference. The food is really good, we ordered the polenta and I was literally in love with! My husband ordered the burger and he liked. My salad with cranberries was really good as well! We highly recommend this place.Thank you so much for the kind words. Happy you enjoyed the polenta fries and Sierra's service. We hope you come and visit again soon!

My husband and I found this place after taking the Charlestown Ferry from Long Wharf. The food was delicious. I had a salad and he had the sandwich special. The food was fresh and we both agreed that our meals blended unique tastes to come up with an excellent lunch. The beer was great too. Back patio was shady and lovely.
