Not sure what has happened...usually a good pub serving food...the whole place was dirty, plenty of staff just stood about, tables needed clearing. They can only cook one pizza at a time (although broken so no pizzas at all). Toilets filthy with no toilet rolls. Wish weâd have stayed at The Victoria.

Went for a late lunch, had to travel to this harvester as the one we were closest to has closed. The restaurant itself is nice and clean and warm and friendly unfortunately the server we had was a typical British server, we asked for the refillable drinks, which arrived but she didnât tell us the machine wasnât working only found out after going to the machine itselfThe food itself came out quickly, I had the slow cooked belly pork and hubby had jerk chicken which he found a bit too spicy for him, we tried to get the attention of the server who was busy talking to another one to get some sour creamWe again had to get attention again to get more drinks, then again to order a dessert, which we couldnât have as the ice cream machine had broken The server had the cheek to say to her boss she was too busy to reset a couple of tables, less chat more work came to mindThe food itself was nice and the salad bar was well stocked although I didnât know they did olives and silver skin onions and the bread rolls have shrunkOverall I would revisit this restaurant

Went for lunch on the recommendation of a friend. Loved it. Excellent ploughman's lunch each and my wife had a rather deelish lemon and chocolate parfait. I didn't bother with a pud but managed 3 pints of their beautifully kept Timothy Taylors Landlord. Great service from some genuinely friendly and efficient staff plus a rather pleasing medley of Tamla Motown made it all truly enjoyable.

We've eaten here several times now including Sunday lunch and Valentine's Day and can't fault anything. The food is delicious and you can tell it's all homemade and the owners and staff are really friendly and can't do enough to help. We like the place so much that we held my daughters 21st here and the entire night was amazing. There was a fantastic spread and a DJ on and everyone had a brilliant time. I would recommend giving this place a try.
