What a great place to spend a few afternoon hours "Day Drinking" or just having lunch. Really mellow waterfront ambiance with a view of the swinging LR bridge. We both had the grilled flounder which we consider the best along the Strand. Friendly atmosphere on a lovely cool sunny day made even better by our wonderful server Holly. Well worth the trip up from The Market Common. And Holly, thanks for the cookies.

Complained to management about one individual regarding a gift card balance theft-that employee still there. Thought I was giving the place an second chance returned 6 months later. The same employee (employed)deliberately delayed my waitress service to me all night long(retaliation from the gift card)-still working there.-NEVER AGAIN!!!
food is ok - prices are good - staff is friendly - its a local place that sometimes has music and entertainmet.

Friendly, neighborly, cozy, pool table, good menu selections, regular music venues, karaoke, drinks, and merriment. Only problem is when it rains. The parking lot gets flooded and can become quite crowded. There's a new bar right next door gaining in popularity and customers, but it's atmosphere doesn't seem as inviting as Jays.

Buzz's Roost is Little River's newest water front restaurant. Along with a great view we offer seafood, steaks, sandwiches, tacos and so much more. We also have happy hour drink specials from 4-7 which includes $2 domestics, $3 wells and $4 house wines.
Decided to try this location after enjoying lunch at their Georgetown location. The food was just as delicious! The Blueberry Jalapeño Shrimp tacos were scrumptious! Homemade pico de Gallo needed more spice & heat. Chicken fingers are real chicken, no fillers. The crab cake was huge and thoroughly enjoyed as well as the fried flounder sandwich. The deep fried cheesecake was unique and fun to try. The deck is right on the water, great view. Service was fantastic! We will be back!

Casual Upscale Dining
We were a party of 5. We showed up and asked to be seated. The obnoxious host told us we could not sit outside. There was a large table available outside and we asked for it. She replied it was for 6 people only, not 5. We were finally given a table inside in the corner and an extra chair set up. The waiter was fabulous, the scallops phenomenal, but the hostess ruined the entire experience.Sorry if you donât understand our seating policy, we have limited seating and only 2 tables that can handle a party of eight. So we will seat a party of 5 on a 4 Top withAnd extra chair if you donât agree with our policy that is your right, hate to see you goBut thatâs your decision.Rich DobkinOwnerFibber McGeeâs Irish Pub

Hickory Shaft Bistro shows off the historical aspect of the game of golf! The food will certainly outshine the low cost menu. Sports Bar with a menu that all foodies will love! Come join us and let us know what you think!
My wife went with a group of about 10 after church a couple Sundays ago. Service was very slow, orders mixed up, a few came out, some never did make it. The staff seemed overwhelmed according to my wife. After the group complained the meals well comped. This is, by far, the worst review I have ever given a restaurant on TripAdvisor, but I felt it needed to be told.We are sorry to hear that you had such a bad experience. We would like to make this right. Would you please call us at 910-832-9097 (4pm-11pm) or email Crissie at [email protected]. Thank you very much for the feedback and we will certainly address the issues to make sure this doesn't happen in the future.
