Solid, solid joint. Delicious food, amazing drinks, great hospitality! Just finished a huge burger and a manhattan. Manhattan was a cherrywood smoked rye... Glass was smoked... Pretty bad @ss. Appitezer menu, food menu, cocktail menu, tap list, food options - all awesome. The cook obviously knows his stuff too. Best burger I've had in ages. The menu here rotates quarterly, I've been told some boozes rotate as well. I wanted to try a half dozen things, but was only in town one night. The fry/chip seasoning is a generations old family recipe and is perfect. I didn't touch the ketchup, which is rare for me. It sounds like there are weekly events as well... Live music, trivia, etc. Doesn't concern me as an out of towner, but I may very well angle to be here on a Friday night later this summer. I'll definitely be back. I gotta try the prime rib sandwich before the menu rotates!

First of all, this is not a sit-down restaurant; however, they have amazing food for carry-out. I stop here every time I am in Butte for their signature tamales. These are made with huge chunks of actual meat wrapped in polenta and are unlike standard Mexican tamales. Though still a dedicated fan of the chicken tamales, my recent favorite has been pork verde. Not to be missed are the pasties, flaky pastry stuffed with savory beef filling. Prices are reasonable, and I am happy to support this family owned business which has been in Butte for years.

Okay place to stop for a cold beverage. One bar with stools, a pool table, a few slots and as our guide put it "colorful" bathroom wallpaper. The women's restroom was covered in magazine pictures of almost naked men...interesting enough but the smell was horrible. Bartender was courteous and beer was cold. Music was good!
