Off the beaten path for sure, but this place certainly appears to be a local favorite. Busy bar with a limited seating area that overlooks a small lake . We had seafood chowder, French onion soup, chicken pot pie, pasta with scallops, and banana caramel dessert and turtle pie. The chowder was good, although slightly bland which was a theme for the night. Both main courses were good portions and well prepared although neither was spectacular. The highlight was the dessert choices along with the two well prepared cocktails. Friendly staff, owners came around to check on customers and lent a hand where needed which was a nice touch.

I was here for a large function; a group of 30+ of us, with the menu chosen ahead of time. The staff tried, but the kitchen couldn't keep up and it took a long time to be served (from drinks all the way through). Again, I know this isn't a typical situation. The food was okay. I would like to try this restaurant as a "normal" diner some time, not as part of a huge party.

Was Back there recently again with my wife and friends. & the food and atmosphere were terrific. Reasonably priced, delicious drinks And great tasting food. I had shepherds pie which never disappoints and my wife said the disco burger was one of the best burgers she ever had. Our waitress was super friendly and pleasant and the place is casual, comfortable and a great local spot .
Hostess friendly and extremely helpful.Wait staff attentive and friendlyMeals served in a timely manner and very goodwe enjoyed the evening
Brew pub is located in a light industry complex. Was there for one-year anniversary celebration. Started with sampler - 4 samples for $6. Pint glasses are $6. Selection of beers changes. On this trip there were about 10 different ones to try. Loved the Cran Beret and the Mary Shroom. BRING YOUR OWN FOOD - it is okay to do so. They don't serve food. Or you can order takeout. If you order takeout be vigilant about watching for the delivery man. The place is crowded and loud (with live band that was there for anniversary). You can purchase various size containers for takeout (grunt [smallest], growler, and another larger size). There is one unisex bathroomâ¦.the line moves fast and the bathroom was scrupulously clean. Friendly crowd. There were a number of infants, toddlers, and very young children despite the bitter cold and heavy snow outside - guess the parents just had to get out for a beer???? There is a bar which seats about 15. There are picnic tables and a couple bar tables and plenty of standing room. Fun place for a nice selection of unusual beers.

Popcorn with siracha oil is addictive but be warned - it is oily. We had the cauliflower bites which were good and not too oily. I got the quinoa-black bean burger - also good but crumbles easily and the bun was a little stale. Fries served in a tiny fry basket were so good. Lots of beer selections. Casual. Others enjoyed their meals.
Just like going to Cheers from the TV show where everybody knows your name! There is a nice menu with specials and homemade soups and entrees. Reasonable pricing and homey atmosphere. Casual is the attire and relaxed is the format with friendly service. Also has a well stocked bar for your enjoyment!

I've eaten here many times, and I've had great food, OK food, and disappointing food.I really like the owner & staff, but I have to say that the quality is inconsistent. When it's good, it's very very good: favorites are trout, pork paprikash--and I've had terrific burgers also. Good salads, interesting starters, and there really is no other restaurant in the area offering this type of food. I've had more good food than bad food, so I'm rating 4 stars. Would love to give 5--some of the dishes I've had were truly 5 star--location is delightful, and I'm hoping that the inconsistent quality reflects growing pains, and that will get straightened out.

The wings are terrific, not fried, but roasted. We had the hot wings and loved them, but several versions are offered. We've enjoyed other dinners here as well, pleasant staff, rustic decor. The bar area is sociable, the dining room is extensive. A little on the noisy side.
