The population was 1,482 at the 2000 census, and 1,561 in the 2005 U.S Census estimates. It is part of the Bradenton-Sarasota-Venice, Florida Metropolitan Statistical Area. The city occupies the southern part of Anna Maria Island and is one of three municipalities on the island. The others are Holmes Beach in the center and Anna Maria in the north.

A small sandwich shop in the rear of the relatively new Courtyard Stores located on Bridge Street. Features a variety of fresh made to order cold/hot sandwiches, wraps, hot dogs, simple salads, and custom sandwiches with limited and varying sides. Found the ingredients to be fresh with Boar's Head meats and cheeses. Menu items range in price from about $6 to $12. Because items are made to order service particularly for larger orders can be slow. Would recommend calling head.Unfortunately the location on Bridge Street makes dropping in by vehicle to pick up fresh sandwiches for the beach or boating difficult. According to their take out menu beer and wine sales are coming soon and my server said that limited delivery in the area including Coquina Beach should be coming soon also.

A real bar, music, sports TV's and characters galore, mix with the locals, they don't bite, well not often! Play Texas Holdem Monday and Wednesday evenings, with Trivia nights, cribbage and local bands during the rest of the week, open till the last person leaves on the weekend.

A jewel in anna Marie island, great breakfast, lunches and dinners with a small bar downstairs. Fishing rod hire, parking for about 20 cars, fab views of dolphins, bull sharks, and if your lucky enough manatees. Love it

My husband and I ate there this weekend. It is a fun Irish pub. They had a live band who was good and fun and very entertaining. We ordered the grilled wedge and the Irish Dip. They were both great! That Irish Dip was so good. We are contemplating getting it to go before we leave town! The only thing that could have been better was the service. They were pretty busy but we felt like the server would check all the tables around us and then skip ours and not even make eye contact to stop them. Would recommend but just cross fingers you get better service.

We stopped for an appetizer and a couple of refreshing treatments of Docâs exotic concoctions. They did the trick; our spirits lifted. This is an AMI must stop and enjoy. The decorations help set the mood; the abundant supplies of adult tonics, herbs and fruits are fun to review. There are no snake oils here. Every potion works

We live on the island and where told, that the owners have changed and that the food is much better now. Well, I'm not sure what their taste butts are like, but for ours the food was way below par. The bread was dry, the crawfish paste had the taste of a hell of a lot of nothing. Guess, that why it weren't a lot of patrons there.We are so sorry to hear of your disappointment. If you would allow me to make it up to you. Ask for me personally on your next visit and I will make sure you have an enjoyable dining experience. Scott

Private club for members only. Good bar, Great prices. Food is limited, mostly burgers and fried snacks. Roof top eating area has fantastic views , outdoor eating area on the edge of the beach.

We have been going to Duffys for the last 9 years the burgers were off this planet. Sadly that its not the case anymore. Also they are letting in dogs that are not service dogs. With regret we have decided that we will not be going back

I had the lobster Mac and cheese, was loaded with lobster and delicious and creamy. My husband got the swordfish special and it made me a little jealous! The lobster Mac and cheese is awesome but the swordfish was just cooked so perfectly! Friendly service and reasonable prices!

Really enjoyed sitting by the docks on Bridge st & having some great food. Nachos to start were excellent as were the mains (especially the Grouper Reuben). Cold beers, live music, and great service. What's not too like.Thank you for visiting the Bridge Tender Inn and Dockside Bar! It is gratifying to hear how much you enjoyed our Nachos, Grouper Reuben and our cold cocktails!
