I discovered this place in the Spring of 2015 and what a treat this place and the owners have been!!! 64 is primarily all about Beer and Although I do not drink anymore, when I did, I discovered that I liked a lot of beers! Loraine and Rod are Amazing people and soo knowledgeable about everything! They also have a heart to keep things local and try and have lots of the local beers set and ready to go!They've come a long way in the last year and a half and have added TV's for sports shows to be shown, food and music. Although I don't drink, they have Sanpellegrino, Kombucha and other non-alcoholic drinks cold and ready to serve. The initial idea was to be a growler filling station but have slowly moved into accommodating those looking for a a couple beers there at their place. They are also the ONLY place in Hood River where if you like a beer enough, they have a machine that will Can A Beer right in front of you to take to your next destination! As I'm in contact with thousands of guests, I bring this up as an opportunity to take advantage of something unique and fun and it always gets positive reactions! They are also moving in the direction to host their own foods such as Bratwurst's and other bar type foods. They are really flexible by having people call local pizza places and having foods brought to them and having paper plates, condiments and other things to help with having a dining experience along with your brews! The really unique pieces to this place are the monitors! You have 30 beers on tap to choose from and they are all up to date with real time measures to how much each keg currently has in it. The prices are also shown next to what type of container you want to drink out of, Pint Glass, Can, Keg, etc...They also have soo many options to choose from when it comes to beers and tastes. They will have lights, darks, porters, hefs, ciders, fruits, etc...YOU WILL FIND A BEER YOU LIKE!!!I always recommend people come to this place first to start their tour of Hood River. I recommend they come in, have a beer and talk to who's working because they will know whats going on in downtown at that time. Another great part about 64 is that its located right in the middle of downtown Hood River and within walking distance of all the local eatery's!Enjoy!

Nice spot along the waterfront. We stopped in for a beer and appetizers on our vacation. Service was really good. Beer was good. Had the salmon and kimchi dips with some fries. All were really good. Kid friendly....they enjoyed the root beer floats. Saw others with entree type food and all looked really tasty. Would recommend for a stop if in the area.

The Skylight Theater and Pub has been completely remodeled sometime in the last couple of years. It now has big, very comfortable leather seats. The food has changed some as well. It used to be the menu was the same upstairs in the theater as downstairs in Andrew's Pizza. Now the Skylight Theater has a create your own pizza choice and make your own salad. You can still go downstairs and get a slice of pizza or a standard salad or a breadstick and bring it up to the theater. You just can't order it upstairs. Food options seemed to be a little less expensive downstairs in Andrew's.Note: New releases and popular movies sell out quickly. Go at least 45 minutes early to buy tickets. You can go wander Hood River or get some food downstairs, but be sure to come back to get your seats at least 15 or 20 minutes before show time. Otherwise, you may not get seats together.Be advised, that minors are not allowed in the last showing of the evening. Check the website for more details.

Stopped in with friends before heading out to wine taste.Wanted their chowder and a salad. Both were good sized portions. Plenty filling for a light bite. Chowder had all the right notes, clams, broth, tasty. Side salad was bigger than I expected. Fresh.Tried a tasting tray of beer and liked them. One of my fave ways to beer taste. Good variety. Place was busy.

I really enjoyed sitting at the new bar, you get to see more of the river view now. I had pasta for lunch, it was really good. Mariva was my bartender. She was great, very friendly and genuine. She made it a comfortable atmosphere to have lunch.

While staying overnight in Hood River recently, we wondered into the main downtown area looking for someplace to eat and decided on Trillium Cafe. I get the impression this place is probably has a fairly different vibe to it during the day versus the evening. The place was busy, with what appeared to be a mostly locals hanging out with a few out-of-towners in the mix. Our server/bartender was very friendly. I had the Charlie Chicken or was it Chicken Charlie sandwich at his recommendation. It was a nice combo of fresh chicken breast with pears, melty cheese, and baked garlic cloves. It was generous portion and was served with hot, crispy, perfectly seasoned tots. Drinks were ok and moderately priced. This is descent quality pub food and window into the local scene. All and all it hit the spot.

Lift a glass to the Pfriem family of artisinal beers--- rife with complexity and elegance, influenced by the great brewers of Belgium, but unmistakably true to their homegrown roots in the Great Pacific Northwest. PFriem is located along the Hood River Wa
After tasting over 900 different beers around the world (my son owns a brewery), I can attest that pFriem has a consistent record of great brewing and great recipes. Multiple style choices on tap that were good from top to bottom. Worth visiting just for the beer.

On a Friday evening, the place was packed with locals and people visiting. Very good and friendly atmosphere. Interesting selection of beers and ciders. I opted for a "Hop Lion" with a small version of Buffy pizza which was already big enough ! The pizza was tasty with a thin crust.I recommend the place for its atmosphere and its choice of drinks and food.

Visited this charming little town just across the Columbia River from Hood River Oregon. The pub is in a relatively new/updated location...very spacious and comfortable. Not terribly hungry so split a chicken gyro...and just as well we split...quite a large serve, delicious french fries. Although tempted by the chance of tasting the 5 beer flight, we were driving in the afternoon so stuck with a tasting size pilsner and lager...both delicious. Will have to return and overnight in town so we can taste the full (and large) range of beers
