Ordered 2 parmas, kids bolognaise, kids pizza. Small parma the bolognaise was sour and the chips were nothing special. And after waiting on table for dessert they didnât even acknowledge that we were waiting on table for it. Worst parma in Bendigo. Waste of money.

The Foundry is the home to Bendigo's busiest family bistro and to Mister Bobs Sports Bar. Two options for eating, private function rooms, TAB, indoor-outdoor courtyard and so much to do. One of Bendigo's only venue with the tank beer system serving the fr

Historic Pub 3 minutes from the Bendigo CBD. Serving a large selection of Craft Beer & Cider from all around the World. Local Wines and a large selection of Australian made Gin.
We booked the Gold Mines hotel restaurant for 13 ppl. Expected the usual pub grub but got so much more. Special shout-outs- the lamb was exceptional. Wood smoked, flavorful & tender. It had us all raving. My duck was something youâd find in an authentic French restaurant. Cooked crispy on the outside & medium rare to perfection. Generous portions. The staff were kind enough to give us the private room which was much appreciated. Highly recommend.

Casual atmosphere, efficient, friendly service, good price, great selection, tasty food. The best chips (fries) we have had.
We booked six days in advance for dinner at 7pm having been before several times and had quite nice food and reasonable though not overwhelming customer service. How things have changed. Its become very busy with a young noisy clientele and the customer service was completely indifferent. We are an older couple and were placed to the side and apart from the main restaurant on a four person table where the fire hose jutted out so far that we were advised to side on the the outside to avoid banging our heads. We had booked a fireside table but were told the two empty and available tables were for "other people" although we had booked in advance and at least one group turned out to be young 'walk-ins'. Our waitress was unfriendly, unsmiling and unsympathetic when we asked to change tables "We're too busy". I can't tell you about the food as we were made to feel so unwelcome that we walked out to find another restaurant. We ended up having my Birthday dinner at the Shamrock Hotel where we had great food and friendly waiters. Very disappointing as I had really looked forward to our special dinner.

Set on a nice corner for a sporting club dinner we met. Warm, old school service and inviting menu. Craft beers range terrific. Has the veal parmigiana and delicious. Noticed across group meals that vegetables have never looked so good and tasty. Great venue for groups, sports tv (corner bar) & quality pub grub. Old school hospitality.

Located on the edge of the Bendigo CBD, the Lake View Hotel is a family friendly and fun dining destination. Our food is inspired by traditional pub fare with some modern twists using local producers to showcase the wonderful flavours of Central Victoria,
Itâs very rare you enjoy a great pub meal with fantastic wine options. Itâs here in spades with wonderful service and a genuine friendly atmosphere shared by patrons and great staff!Loved the lamb cutlets, and kitchen readily accomodated request for 4 rather than 3. Steak sandwiches looked awesome!Fantastic value, extensive wine choices with 3 sizes of glasses an option that is fantastic, but a little unique!

Dining room out back I say for family! The front corner bar is a lively local party on a Sunday night. We enjoyed kids meals, paella, and Thai beef salad. Great food and service. Really good choice and all fairly happy. Bad disappointment when returning to car at 7.30 pm parked on main road to find a young chap urinating on side of pub wall. With 2 young kids in tow I was less than happy ... remove the outside tables or hire security?

Dropped into the Old Boundary Hotel for lunch. It was a local Public Holiday so the Express Lunch options were not available. The building has been nicely refurbished with pictures of the Gold Rush era adorning the walls, together with other memorabilia around. The staff were very attentive and helpful. However this is also about the food. In short, really good. We had a garlic bread for entree and for mains Lasagne ,and a Eye Fillet Mignon, medium rare. The garlic bread was on a Turkish Bread and had a lot of garlic with a sprinkling of parsley - excellent. The lasagne had a very nice taste but a bit dry on some of the edges. The Eye Fillet Minon was cooked perfectly and tasted great. The meals were a good size but not huge. We both were comfortably full. No hesitation in recommending the venue and meals and we will be certainly going back on our next trip to Bendigo.

Chose this place due to high rating on Trip Advisor. Nice ambience and comfy seating. No lunchtime specials on a Saturday not sure if they do on weekdays. Most meals mid twenties or higher.Service was efficient and our meals were good but not perfect.I had a parmi with chips and salad. It could have done with a bit more seasoning. The beer battered chips were yum and the salad was ok..My wife enjoyed her corned Silverside and veges.Very good but probably not a 5.
