The waitresses at this pub were the rudess I have ever encountered. They looked annoyed when you went up to the bar to order a drink and don't ask for a bottle of water because that also was frowned at. They treated the patrons as if we were an annoyance. For a typical country pub the food was overpriced. Our schnitzels were badly burnt and they had a terrible salad bar which had a few boring salads in little bowls and nothing else. Worst dining experience my husband and I have had in years but particularly the rudess staff we have ever encountered who obviously hate their jobs.

We had planned on eating in the outdoor area, was way too warm, plus an 18th Birthday party happening. So, in to the dining area we went. Found a wonderful table in an alcove, wonderful comfy seats, and plenty of room. There is so much choice of food, from stone grill steaks, through to burgers, schnitzel, sea food and so much more. Staff were delightful, friendly and helpful. All in all, an amazing experience. Parking on the street is at a premium, though there are other options. Loved our lunch here, and would certainly return, should we be back in the Gawler area.

There are several pubs in Gawler and this one was remodelled a few years ago. Service is good, food is OK. Buffet choices are standard for this region. I find the restaurant a little claustrophobic with no outside windows and I wish the poker machines were not so close to the eating area. There is a nice kids play area. The main reason for going to this hotel for me was a function and the food was good. Serves were large and well prepared. Order at the bar and the food is served at your table.

We had previously dined in as a group, and it was decided to return a few months later. We were not disappointed, food was amazing. The steaks were HUGE, all meals were very generous in sizeI loved that the kids menu option of chicken nuggets consisted of real chicken and not processed crap.We all went away happy and full.

We were surprised this pub was so quiet as it's a great little spot. The front bar is quaint and cosy and the food in the bistro is great and good value. The staff were all friendly and attentive so overall we had a great experience and will be back!

Went here tonight for Taco Tuesday ($4 Tacos) and the food was nice. Burgers, ribs and wings also looked great. The atmosphere was great too. They have an old motorbike in the floor with a solid glass panel over top which you can walk over. The only negative that actually really annoyed me was that a glass of 4 pines beer cost $12!!! For a town that has multiple pubs on the Main Street, youâd think beer prices would be fairly competitive, but $12 for a beer is astronomical!!! No prices for beers shown at bar or on any menus either. Even a glass of coke was $5.20 which also seems rather extreme.Hi Bigfish1988,Firstly, thank you for taking the time to leave us some feedback! We really do appreciate it!We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the food and venue on the night, the motorbike is definitely one of our favourite parts too!As for the pricing, thank you for letting us know of your experience. We will take this into consideration for future and really do hope to see you in again soon!Kind regards,

We have had lunch here twice, their $13 special. Both times the food has been lovely, the Yiros especially. A drink is included. On the first visit the servings were very generous but the second time the size of the serve was quite a bit smaller! Will go again.

We called into the Tanunda Hotel for a cold beer on an extremely hot 39 degree day.The beer was icy cold and the staff in this traditional old pub were very friendly. The menu looked inviting.

We came to the Greenock pub as first choice El Estanco was closed on Tuesday. What a pleasant surprise. It was a freezing cold day but we sat in the bar in front of the open fire and became toasty quite quickly. The food was a little slow coming out given the few customers but the schnitzel and pizza were super tasty and big serves. Would return an recommend. Thanks 284Cathyreview for taking the time to leave this lovely feedback! We're really glad you got the chance to give us a try and are even happier that you enjoyed it! Thanks for the recommendation and we hope to have you back in again soon!

This establishment offers accommodation and dining in the Barossa region of South Australia. It is well presented and I have stayed and dined at this place. Surprising that no one has reviewed it as it is well and truly smack bang in the middle of this we
Stopped here many times, always consistent, rooms are clean and functional, meals are traditional 'pub' style, always tasty and reasonably priced.Only con this trip is the bar staff who need to take some happy pills and not be so rude. Our stopover place of choice, do yourself a favour.Hello Robert,Thank you for your positive feedback and recommendation for others to stay.We look forward to seeing you next time you stop-over in the beautiful Barossa.Cheers,Chris LindenCEOVine Inn BarossaVine Court Barossa
