Easy Tiger features artisan bread (including baguettes, croissants, pretzels), locally roasted coffee, housemade meats (sausages, corned beef, pastrami), a patio whiskey bar and more than 30 local and boutique draft beers.
I went here prior to retiring to my adjacent hotel for the evening, and was very glad I did! Easy tiger has some great outdoor seating options, but I went inside (and downstairs) to the bar area. In short, this place definitely has a "dive bar" feel to it; however, what a fantastic beer selection on tap, and very knowledgeable staff behind the bar! On top of that, they have a selection of baked goods available and a limited menu. My timing was perfect to order a very fresh, large baked pretzel with beer cheese! Overall, I liked this place, and hope to return.

I don't think the maitre d equivalent had the right personality/skills for the job - was rather dour and seat assignment was a mystery. From there someone will come along in a while and take your meal order and then after another lengthy wait someone else will come along and serve it. It just didn't seem that joined up.

Stella San Jac offers eclectic Southern cuisine that embodies the music, flavors and culture that define Austin.
In the lobby of the Westin Hotel, Stella San Jac was an excellent choice for our group dinner. The appetizers were excellent, and each of our meals was incredible. The cocktail list was also enticing. Each of our party of five enjoyed the entire meal, with a very good server. The desserts were probably the weak spot...they sounded good, but weren't up to expectations. Having said that, the dinner is fantastic, and I would recommend.Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us, Matt! We're glad to hear that your entire group enjoyed your dining experience. Our teams will be thrilled to hear your positive comments regarding the food, cocktails, and overall service. We hope to serve you again in the future!Cheers,Moby MirGeneral Manager

The latest of several visits, this location is perfect for before/after Paramount/Stateside shows. The menu is varied, basic American fare, the wine list is fine, prices reasonable and the food consistently good. Service has always been great, but on this visit, outstanding. Recommend both of the Austin locations.

Came here multiple times on a recent trip to Austin. This is definitely a classier place than other spots on 6th Street. The servers were friendly and helpful, they knew the menu and were able to recommend a beer or food item based on your tastes. Their selection of local craft beer is amazing. They have a rotating beer selection (which is not included in the Happy Hour, FYI) and then their standard beers that they always have. The Bison Burger was great, maybe a little overcooked for Bison, but still a good burger. The Lollipop Corn Dogs were good, but it's a small portion, only four small corn dogs and a the huge portion of spicy porter mustard, left me wanting more corn dogs. The Mac and Cheese Bites pack some heat with Fresno Chilis in the mix. Finally the Truffle Cheese Fries were just excellent! I highly recommend this place!

"You'll love my Salty Balls" I told my wife. "What !?" she exclaimed as she was washing up when I originally ordered. Once in a while you come across a place you think about and crave months after a visit - its been a year I I still think about this stop. We actually had desert here 3 times in our 4 day visit. Yes it was that good. Now the regular food looked good but with all the BBQ around I have to confess we stuck with desert, swearing to try full fare next time. We were never disappointed with anything we tried (six items); but the Salty Balls ($4.75) were simply amazing and thank goodness 3 hours from home as my main means of transportation otherwise would be a heavily fortified scooter. You've got to try this place; what started as me ordering something just for a laugh will be a must stop if I'm ever within an hour of Austin. By the way my health conscious wife did love my salty balls and its her go to order now as well.
Located at 5th and Lavaca, a former home of Antoneâs, SPIN Austin is a new home for eclectic fun and experiences. In the heart of downtown Austin, SPIN houses 14 ping pong tables, a full bar, fantastic shareable menu and a semi-private room for parties.
Attended a business function here. Surprisingly it was crowded. I am thinking to revive my parents 50 year old ping pong table and start making money by selling beer as admission ... an odd concept that I still honestly donât get. My 2 stars isnât for that. It is for the food. It was bland and not good. They tried to hard to make it funky Austin, and in my view failed. A mushroom quinoa square thing that had no flavor, flank steak that was too salty, teeny tiny flat taco things (literally the size of a quarter ...). Not my vibe. Maybe it is for you ...

We haven't found better food in this price range anywhere. Everything is fresh and above average for comfort food. We love the Ruby Trout Salad or Dinner and the Chicken Fried Chicken. Their guacamole is so good, we managed to get the recipe. The house margarita is refreshingly different and worth a try. Highly recommend!

Voted Austin's Best Brewpub in 2013, 2014, and 2015! 2013 GABF Bronze Medal Winner for our Blind Jake Porter, 2014 GABF Bronze Medal Winner for our Jaguar Shark Bourbon Barrel Aged Stout, and 2014 Alpha King Challenge 2nd Place Winner for our Fully Adrift
Excellent pizza every time....my whole family has had cravings for these dishes ever since we first ate there. Fresh, fluffy crust with just enough crunch to make it interesting. Always packed with flavors and the basil on the margarita is to kill for.

Boasting 24 televisions, an energetic atmosphere, mouth-watering menu items, and 24 beers on tap, Champions is one of the leading downtown Austin restaurants.
The food here is really really good! And it is right across the street from the convention center! But be aware it is really busy! Hard to find tables - we sat at the bar on the first trip - but readily went back again! Highly recommend it!
