Top 10 Private Tours in Utah, United States

Welcome to “The Greatest Snow on Earth” – Utah’s paradise for all outdoor enthusiasts! As host of the 2002 Winter Olympics, Park City knows how to entertain winter fun seekers. Snowboarders and skiers head for miles of spectacular slopes with deep fluffy powder and breathtaking mountain views. The Olympic Park provides family-friendly ski programs, rides and shows. Alta, Sundance, Snowbird and Brighton are other popular destinations for cross country and Alpine skiers. Those alluring snowy slopes turn to rolling wildflower fields in the summer. Golfing, fishing, horseback riding and water sports replace chilly outdoor sports adventures. Corral the family, pack a picnic and catch one of the ski lifts for an afternoon of hiking or mountain biking along scenic trails. Head to Salt Lake City, where Temple Square hosts millions of visitors a year. Bryce Canyon and Arches National Park are famous for surreal landscapes from horseshoe-shaped amphitheaters to unusual rock formations and hundreds of natural sandstone arches. Closer to home, wander along the quaint main streets of mountain villages to browse, shop and enjoy lunch at an outdoor café. At the end of the day, head home for an outdoor barbecue and an evening of games. Home rentals blend privacy, space and comfort with the cost-saving advantage of eating some meals at home.

I had such a good experience last year I brought my family back to Vegas just to take some Bindlestiff tours. We went to Death Valley with Tim and it was phenomenal. We all had a great time. It’s basically a sampler platter of quick experiences but that’s perfect for a family with kids. We got to see so much packed into one day. Tim is an excellent guide: friendly, knowledgeable, passionate. The van is very comfortable with plenty of cold water, and lots of restroom stops if you need that. I highly recommend this tour when you’re in vegas, you won’t regret it.

We paid $80 per person for the 3 stop tour on the Hualapai reservation. 1st stop was the dusty ranch, we didnt even get off the bus and got off at 2nd stop, which was the skywalk. While its a great view, its hardly 4000 feet above the canyon. Maybe farther out its that deep, but looked only a few hundred feet to me. The 3rd stop at Guano Point was the best part and very worth it. Be aware that its not all cluttered up with hand rails and other safety features, so it can be a bit sketchy. You can sit right on the edge and dangle your feet if you want, but its not for the faint of heart. Much scarier and more awe inspiring than the skywalk in my opinion. Bigger and better views as well. Worth the drive from Las Vegas.

My husband and I were given the ride of our lives by Preston. We had a slow start because the first ATV we started out on overheated, so we waited in the beautiful surroundings for reinforcements to bring us another vehicle. Preston wanted to make up for any inconvenience it caused (and honestly, there was none) by seriously giving us the ride of our lives! I was blown away by the surrounding beauty and Preston made the experience so much fun. We had our 5 month old Border Collie puppy in tow and we kept laughing because as we literally flew over, straight up, and down the dunes our little guy was completely relaxed. I'm sure it's fun to drive the ATVs yourself but for the best experience possible have a pro like Preston give you...the ride of your lives!

Kristin was awesome to take us on a great off-roading adventure. My wife is a bit less adventurous but Kristin made it all seem so easy that she was at ease but I got to have a blast doing things I would not have attempted if we didn't have a guide. Took the time to explain interesting historical features along the way. Also stopped to watch someone climb Hell's Gate in an altered jeep. Absolutely would recommend adding this your Moab must do list.

The half hour tour was perfect for our little ones ages 4 to 10. They taught us Navajo greetings, talked about equinne culture, local wildlife, native uses of local plants, how the mesa's were formed and were overall extraordinary hosts. We will come back again as soon as we can.

EXPERIENCE A DEEP, REMOTE SLOT CANYON. Buckskin Gulch is the longest slot canyon in the world, slicing through the beautiful Navajo sandstone in southern Utah. Enjoy an intimate, private adventure in an incredible slot canyon without the mass of crowds that are encountered at Zions or Antelope Canyon. We'll be dropping into the very middle of this remote canyon, bypassing a long hike at the beginning, and exploring the labyrinth at a leisurely pace all to ourselves. This hike is not for anyone with a strong fear of heights and requires a steep Class 3 scramble into the slot (you'll be using your hands). This is a physically demanding hike of a minimum distance of 4 miles and a max of 10 miles. Recent rain events may require hiking through mud and wading through pools of water. Conditions inside the slot canyon change continuously, so bring an adventurous and positive attitude. Entry into the canyon is allowed only if safe from flash flood danger.

We did two different half day trips with John, one to Canyonlands and one to Arches. There is so much to see in these parks. John maximized our experiences with efficient itineraries without us feeling rushed and we really felt like we saw most of what potentially could be seen. Not only is John a great tour guide, but also captured great candid photos of my wife and I, images that silently speak to our relationship much like you would hope for from a wedding photographer. The added, much appreciated bonus from John, were his recommendations of where to go explore on our own on free days; places you don’t hear about when considering coming to the Moab area. So thankful the time we had with John who started our tours early enough to get the sunrise photos of arches that leave others envious.
