The locals have long frequented "balnearios" and 600 hot springs bubble up around the country. Tequisquiapan, an enticing cheese and wine-making region in the state of Querétaro, is the perfect destination for those wanting to pair their hot springs experience with a delicious gourmet escape.

We set out to do an all-inclusive, private tour of all activities we love - canyoning, rappelling, biking, caving, etc. EXXI provided us the flexibility to do it all. It was one of the greatest adventures we've ever had, and all thanks to the wonderful Service provided by the EXXI Team. We began our adventure by getting in touch with Mariana through whatsapp. She walked us through the logistics, and was very understanding of our preferences. In the end she put together a tailor-made package that sounded amazing. Carlos took over upon our arrival, took the necessary measures to ensure everyone was safe regarding COVID-19, and guided us through 7 days of intense fun. We did so many things I can't even name them all, but some highlights were Canyoning in Sierra Gorda, zip Lining in the red tailed Eagle Canyon, and horseback riding in the desert. Every day brought an unforgettable experience, which was complemented by delicious meals in quite comfortable hotels. Altogether a fantastic adventure that we will surely repeat one day. Thank you so much to the EXXI Team for providing us with this opportunity.

Guanajuato is an amazing city located in the mountains, where people built their colorful houses. Starting as a mining town in the 16th century, you will be impressed by its colorful houses, the streets that run underneath the city and the mountains, the museums and historical buildings. This is a 9 hours tour starting from San Miguel de Allende or Queretaro, where we'll visit Teatro Juarez, University of Guanajuato, Hidalgo market, the kissing alley. As an option we can see Diego Rivera House museum, or Mummy museum, and you can choose between the tourist mine or the Ex Hacienda de San Gabriel Barrera. This is an unique city in Mexico with a strong architectural European influence.

Did two tours with Aaron in Queretaro, the city walking tour and the wine and cheese tours. His english is excellent and his knowledge of the region and its history wonderful. He regaled us with stories of the history of the region, but was also a wealth of knowledge of the businesses and economic engines of the region. He drove us for the wine tour in his newish Nissan. He is a careful solid driver and we felt comfortable the whole day. We especially enjoyed the town of Bernal and the Freixenet winery. We felt very well cared for the entire time with Aaron. Would strongly recommend him and his tours and plan to come back one day to further explore the region.

Spent 2 days with David and am happy to recommend David and Annamaria, without hesitation, for whatever kind of tour you would like, in or around Queretaro. For example, we had an exceptional day visiting the monolith near Bernal; followed by a lovely time in the town itself; including a couple of fascinating extra touches; and topped off with wonderful lunch at a picture perfect hacienda. Annamaria & David will go out of their way to see that you have a great experience in Queretaro. Bob

I am SO happy we booked this tour with Juan Carlos. I was a little wary at first because this experience didn’t have any reviews on TripAdvisor, but SO GLAD we took the chance! Juan Carlos was one of the best tour guides we’ve ever had. Very professional, communicative and knowledgeable — he made the experience stand out. We were picked up right at our hotel, and then took about an hour drive to Tepoztlan, a gorgeous magical town in the mountains by Mexico City. Upon arriving, we walked through the town until we reached the trail head. No for the faint of heart but wonderful exercise to climb to the top!! Unfortunately because of COVID the *very* top was closed, but we still got some incredible photos and views. Juan Carlos got us some paletas (popsicles) on the way down which gave me sustenance! We then got lunch at a local restaurant — absolutely delicious! I got the chicken verde enchiladas and tried a couple of local apps as well. Then Juan Carlos treated us to a delicious ice cream! I got cafe con leche and my partner got coconut — but the best flavor was Juan Carlos’s, so I recommend listening to him for the best fruit flavors. We also had time to stop by local artisans as well as the market in town. We got so many goodies to bring home — Oaxacan chocolate, a rams skull for our collection, incense and much more. There’s also an organic soap shop in town that I highly recommend. Don’t overthink it — BOOK this experience with Juan Carlos and be prepared for a magical time.

Dora was an excellent and accommodating guide. She was aware of the aspects that we would find most interesting and was obviously very familiar with the area and navigating the site and the staff who were at the site. We enjoyed Dora's guiding so much, we asked her to take us somewhere else the next day!

This tour will acquaint you with Queretaro “la ciudad limpia” Travelers Magazine declared Queretaro “one of the cleanest cities in the world“. The elegance of Queretaro has no match in all of Mexico. Visit its museums, el cerro de las campanas (the place where Emperor Maximilian was executed), Santa Rosa`s church.. Doubtless, Queretaro is beyond comparison.

Jesus is top notch! Couldn't have asked for a more knowledgeable and professional guide. Grateful that his English is impeccable, as my Spanish is far from it. He is more like a curator for San Miguel, than a tour guide. I was fortunate to have him as a private guide and he opened my eyes to all the rich history the historic part of San Miguel Allende has to offer.
