This company were organised the transfers on arrival to Mauritius to our hotel resort. It was the most uncomfortable and sub standard transfer we have ever experienced. After a twelve hour flight from the UK we were packed to capacity in a small, old vehicle with no proper air conditioning, small uncomfortable seats and luggage separated only by an old net at the rear of the vehicle. We were then subjected to 45 plus minutes of poor driving in the most uncomfortable vehicle which in the UK would have been compared only to a builder's van. We complained to the rep on arrival at the resort and said we would not be prepared to make the return journey in the same circumstances. When I asked about an upgrade to private transfer I was given a price of 2,000 rupees, this was the same price as the taxi from the hotel. This was not an acceptable price given that we had already paid for a transfer and as we were not able to negotiate anything else with Mautorco, we booked a taxi. Extremely poor service and for that reason we did not even look at trips with this company. Certainly would not recommend.

We highly recommend Ridwaan, perfect safe driver who has a lot to share over the island. Showed us all we wanted and then some more so very pleased with the whole experience. We experienced some of the facets of this Package with a stay in the Kaz‘trla in the Domaine Bel Ombre. It was a great experience. We had the opportunity to visit this Domain with its Château and picturesque and romantic scenery...beautiful moment. It was an opportunity for us to enjoy local food, lovely. The gâteau Piments and ti-pouri during our safari drive were a delight. My husband booked also a Golf lesson at the Heritage. We also enjoyed our overnight stay at the Chazal camping tent and gave some fun with its zipline. It was really a very special time for us. We will of course rebook such a Package which we strongly recommend. Many thanks for these wonderful moment.

This is a private full day tour in the South East region of Mauritius themed around scenic and historical views combined with the wild untouched side of the island. Following a pickup from your accommodation, drive along the tea route to make a first stop at Bois Cheri tea factory for a guided tour to learn more about tea production. Enjoy a complimentary tea tasting session at the tea estate’s uphill restaurant that overlooks a natural lake. Next, head to La Vanille Nature Reserve for a close encounter with giant tortoises and Nile crocodiles before making another stop at a former sugarcane plantation estate at Saint Aubin. A magnificent colonial house sits in that estate surrounded by a tropical garden and its adjacent rum distillery and farm. Sample local rums produced in the distillery and enjoy fruits from the farm. End the tour with a stop to Gris Gris coastline at the very south end of Mauritius to catch a great view of the Indian Ocean .

Booked and paid for the tour online on the 2nd of January. On messaging the tour organizer, oceanafricatours, to check if they had a referral for a taxi I was advised they had no places , despite me haveing booked and paid and that I must choose to go on another day or cancel. I elected to accept their cancellation on condition I was refunded. To date I have not been refunded nor have oceanafricatours contacted me again.
