Hi,We staied in this hotel One week and we eat in its resturant.The food Is vary good and There are many types of food also polish traditional food or more Western food.All dinners and lunches are verte quite and good. The price Is ok.We eat pirogi, meat, Salad, french fries etc.Thanks

Tasty and inexpensive. Good portions too. We tried a burger and a shoarma they were both delicious. If you want to sit outside you need to pay in advance but it's worth it as those tables are very comfy and light. There is no English menu but the waitresses are very kind and help with the translations.

There are not too many restaurants that really welcome kids and very few actually provide a separate play room for them. Nevertheless, Imperial Restaurant does! It actually works out well for parents and even kid haters as the children romp around in the playhouse that is on the side hence leaving the adults to enjoy their food in peace and quiet. The food is mostly Italian but there are a couple of Continental choices and some salads. I had the Pasta Bolgnese, which was very good with a rich and thick sauce but the portion was very small and for most people would only make a decent appetizer. The steak with fries and salad that was ordered cooked medium rare actually came out if the kitchen medium well but at least the meat quality was decent. Pizza was very popular with the other patrons. They were pretty large and thin and they generally looked good. Service was friendly and efficient though language is an issue. The menu was all in Polish and the staff only spoke a few words English. There is an inside and outside seating area with umbrellas facing the pedestrian zone. Nice for pople watching. Overall a decent choice though it will not win any culinary awards any time soon.

This restaurant is locted in the basement of a grand old building on the main square in old town Novy Sacz. The only way to get down there are the stairs so this place will not work for people with walking handicaps. The atmosphere is pretty cosy with two smaller dining areas and a lounge area with the bar at the center. The menu is very large and is written in English, German and Polish. Prices are extremely moderate. A large local beer costs under $2 and a main dish with beef was around $6. Portion size is large as well. The food of course is more good country home cooking than haute cuisine but that is to be expected in this part of the world. I had the beet root soup with mushroom dumplings (very good), the boiled beef with mashed potatoes and horseraddish sauce (good) and for dessert the ice cream with fruit and whipped cream (okay). The latter turned out to be actually fruit ice cream with whipped cream so probably it was a small translation error but no big deal. Service is friendly and efficient and the waitresses speak a few words of English making the oberall process quite smooth. Recommended!

Most popular place in the surroundings for ice creams.It is not a cheap place (12-16pln for an ice cream), but they are simply delicious.Has a nice terrace to enjoy in summer time. Long queues to get your ice-cream, well worth to try.
