The trendy bar, always overcrowded, occupied mainly by youngsters. Quite wide menu, including pizzas and burgers, but the food is not the strenght of this entity. Rather drinks, different kind of beers attract customers. In the rush hours, be prepared for a long wait. One of the leading bars in the entertainment and culinary area - famous Piotrkowska Off.

You are cordially invited to the ANATEWKA - a place where you can experience the unique and enchanting flavors of Jewish cuisine. Welcome to Lodz, where each of the four cultures has left its legacy and unforgettable atmosphere of the Promised Land.
The cured herring was excellent, especially with the accompanying bread and salad. The boiled beef was quite chewy and didn't have much flavour but the vegetables were fresh and crisp. I think the tomato salsa was out of a jar and didn't add anything. The potato cake was flavoursome, if over charred on the outside. The Paschal cheesecake was the best I've tasted for a long time.Helpful, nice people.Overall, I'll eat here again very happily.

Was on a work dinner here. Food selection is very good. Service is alright. Ensure you make correct selection in steak cooking time as understanding can lead to incorrect food served. Would go back again.

Visited manekin this evening at 5pm, well received by staff, seated promptly, menus given swiftly, beer & red wine ordered prior to food order, quickly delivered. Food ordered shortly after, oven baked lasagna in a savoury crepe for my partner, chilli con carne in a savoury crepe for myself, cheese sauce & salad garnish accompanied this dish, both dishes 400g, a sizeable portion, very tasty, a novel take on presentation in a savoury crepe, works very well & totally different & flavoursome, a shared pudding of vanilla ice cream on a bed of hot fresh raspberries, beautiful, 2 large draft beers, 3 glasses of house red wine, bill total was £15.stg,This was a great meal at a great price with excellent service, to be recommended for all visitors to lodz. Looking for a different dinner solution found this restaurant in Trip and decided to try it. Overall: Excellent!! Service is great, the food interesting and very tasty, very well presented. Not so many choices but all very appealing.Usually I stay way from these places because my taste goes more to traditional, old fashioned, typical restaurants so my good review of this place says a lot!If you like good food, try it! If, on top, you like modern, chef like cuisine, then it's a must!!

We enjoyed our meal at the Anatewka. Once inside, the restaurant is full of Jewish items and photos and the decor is different to the usual.Staff were helpful and food was of good quality, with the price being reasonable too. Starter and main plus drinks came in at £25 for two.

Quale Restaurant is a place for people who value quality and taste. We have combined the decor of our rooms, inspired by the 1920's, with modern cuisine, a cocktail-bar and whisky bar. All this is connected by carefully selected background music. When vis
We may have come there at a wrong time, during the restaurant week festival, asking for a regular meal a la carte but,,,. I had booked a table for a small family celebration. When we arrived, we were kept waiting for a few minutes. The waitress informed us that there was no reservation in my name... Right... No assumption that there may be a mistake in the notes... We were shown to the room with all but one tables empty, no reservations... What was all the fuss then? We waited 7 minutes for the (completely numb) waitress to arrive with the menu, then another 16 minutes for her to take our order. She may have been stressed, but she ended up being rather pompous and crude (by instructing us in advance what we could not have). Ultimately, feeling rather bitter by not being able to get any simple pasta for our kid (we had great memories of ravioli about two years ago), we ended up leaving. We picked a less fancy restaurant, where we had a square meal and friendly service. I don't think I am coming back to actually test the food in this pompous, hostile environment.Dear Miss, we apologize for the unfortunate coincidence. In fact, your reservation was registered a day earlier and although we do not know what made this error to happen because this has never happened before, we are very sorry about that. Certainly, the festival mess must have had some influence on that although we do not avoid any responsibility, the error is ours. As far as the waitress is concerned, please understand - she is very nice and hospital, this day she could not provide you with such an amount of emotions you undoubtedly deserve due to the mentioned festival. We are also sorry due to the kitchen which on that day could not serve all dishes from the menu. This state of affairs was also the consequence of wrongly registered reservation and lack of preparation. Each dish in our restaurant is prepared only after making the order and for technological reasons, we cannot accelerate this process. Also for this reason the cook proposed a shortened menu for you. Certainly in your situation I would react in a similar way, however taking into account the above mentioned please consider milder penalty. In order to be able to rehabilitate, I invite you again. Yours faithfully - Dariusz Sojka

Stary Rynek 2 is a cosy place where you can celebrate your special occasions as well as have a non-committal meeting in the heart of Lodz. The uniqueness of our restaurant is provided by atmospheric decor, inspired by the prewar era, which for us is a syn
Quite new restaurant, in the peacefull location, but close to the city centre. The folk Polish dishes, served in old style, in large portion, but at good prices. The dinning room is traditionally furnished and the music is playing in the style of twenties and thirties / bit too loudly /. It makes nice atmosphere in this place.Thank you for the review, we hope to meet again.

Cozy and relaxing place, with great view on the Squere. The menu is rather short, but with many interesting dishes.Very good cod fish and zander, excellent lamb and inspiring desserts. The wine list is not vast, but includs some interesting positions at acceptable prices. Classy and attentive service and generally good impression and motivation for the next visit.
