Tula Oblast (Russian: Ту́льская о́бласть, Tulskaya oblast) is a top-level political division of European Russia (namely an oblast). Its present borders were set on 26 September 1937. The city of Tula is its administrative center. The oblast has an area of 25,700 square kilometers (9,900 sq mi) and, as of 2010, had a population of 1,553,925. Since 2 February 2016, the current governor of the oblast has been Alexey Dyumin.

Museum of Samovars and Bouillottes provides fascinating interactive tours, adapted for visitors of all ages. Adults and children will learn about rare samovars and bouillottes, as well as hear interesting stories about Russian life and the traditions of tea drinking. On April 24, 2018, experts from the Record Book of Russia have added a new record, and now we are proud to announce that our museum in the Tula District exhibits the largest private collection of samovars and bouillottes in Russia.

"Museum of Russian Merchants' Life" is situated in the estate that used to belong to one of the famous Epifan's merchants - Anton Baibakov. After revolution his house was given under a state control. In different periods a hospital and a pharmacy situated there. In the 90th years of the last century Russian government adopted a law on restitution of property to the rightful owner. And Nadezhda Klimova, a descendant of Baibakov, sold the estate to the State Museum-Preserve "The Kulikovo Field".
