Confederation Park, separating Kingston’s City Hall from the waterfront, was established in 1967 on formerly industrialised land. It includes a ceremonial arch with fountain, an unattributed stone sculpture, a restored historic locomotive ‘the spirit of Sir John A’ known as Engine 910 as well as a Tourist Information Centre which was formerly the southern terminus station of the long since defunct Kingston and Pembroke railway line.

Stroll through the Park... Great way to work off dinner! Town hall, a gazebo, and old train and falls all included. Great restaurants across the street.

Half Moon Bay is a natural rock bay formation on Bostwick Island that has been transformed into a summer place of worship for all. On Sunday afternoons during the summer, worshipers who come to Half Moon Bay,remain in their boats to sing hymns, listen to guest speakers and participate in a non-denominational service. The "Cathedral" is inspirational, humbling and natural. Services are at 4:00 p.m
Went on a Kayaking trip with 1000 Islands Kayaking Company and this magical place was one of our stopping points. Loved the history of the place as told by our Guide, River. A place to visit if you have a chance.

Went for the church tour during the summer. Highly recommended it! The church is just beautiful and the tour hist Diane Berlet was very helpful. We picked up a copy of her book The Loyalist Tiles of St Alban's and enjoyed seeing the rare Loyalist Tiles contained within the church. Beautiful architecture. The Anglican Church has been deconsecrated and a not for profit organization Friends of St Alban's Adolphustown runs the summer tours. We wandered the Loyalist cemetery as well. A great Canadian historical spot!

While we were in the States, we could see an island with lots of turbines. we weren’t sure if it was American or Canadian. When we took the Horne's Ferry, we discovered that Wolfe Island was the one with so many turbines, 86 in all. We took the self-guided tour. I enjoyed admiring these turbines. Each one had the capacity of making 197.8 megawatts and all of them have an annual capacity of 594,000 Megawatts. There was so much information. How it works. Why it is clean energy. Why they put these turbines on Wolfe Island. It was quite interesting! I enjoyed our tour here. I learned a lot. Worthwhile to visit! And it is free!
