Visit this lovely house and go down to the basement where you will meet the charming Mario. He will amaze and entertain you with his marvellous collection of antique musical boxes. He made the cabinets of many of them himself! Simply the most memorable experience you will have in Sorrento.

Castello Giusso

I’ve budget travelled in a huge variety of places and this is my favourite spot yet. The castle reception rooms are refreshing after touring in the heat of July. The pool essential and you can eat on the verandah . Not at all touristy and we are the only English, just how I like it.

Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata

Unfortunately, when I went to Chiesa della Santissima Annunziata (on a Saturday morning in early November) the doors were locked. I couldn’t go inside. Not a complete loss, as the views from the exterior of the church are spectacular. If you have a chance, go down to the beach and look up at this beautiful clifftop church. Very impressive.

This mural which shows Lucio Dalla Sophia Loren Enrico Caruso (probably the best tenor ever and who spent his last days in the hotel excelsior a few hundred metres away) in sorrento is a piece of street art not seen so much in these parts and is done so well in my opinion the attention to detail especially re Lucio & Enrico is outstanding artwork Well worth a visit especially if you like street art/graffiti

Sedile Dominova

Reviewed By MarshaE178 - Kingston, Canada

We had lunch there recently and the atmosphere is very nice and also casual and service was great. The restaurant location is away from the main street but is on a busy corner and great for people watching. The restaurant was very busy which shows it is a popular place. We shared a cannelloni and it was delicious.
