Sailing, diving, fishing and relaxing are the main activities for visitors to the 155 islands of this Indian Ocean archipelago. Mahé, Praslin and La Digue are the most popular islands. Mahé boasts 65 silver beaches, plus an array of restaurants, cafés, bars and casinos in the tiny capital, Victoria. The Seychelles are home to UNESCO-designated sites, coral atoll Aldabra and Vallée de Mai, called the Garden of Eden. Creole is the main language, but English and French are widely spoken.

This was really a beautiful beach with crystal clear water which is really good for both swimming and snorkelling. U can rent a car or go by public bus and this is the last stop for the bus and a 2 minutes walk from the bus stand so it’s really easy to come back to the city. Make sure u pack some food and drinks as therz no cafe on the beach therz only a five star resort.

This is worth a visit at anytime during the day though the spectacle is better in the morning, and Saturday morning is when you can see the most stalls. The produce on sale is fish, fruits, vegetables, spices, some crafts, local honey and preserves. You can go to look and take pictures or buy some fruit to go along with during the day. It takes at most an hour to see everything. If you want to take local products home be a bit picky and ask who made them and where, they all have a story. Probably the best pictures you will get will be the fish and octopus.

It is a temple for the Hindu religion. It is a spiritual place and the most beautiful place in Seychelles. It is open to all and if you happen to be during the month of January you will get to see some of the prayers, sacrifice and rituals done during thaipoosam a festival for the Lord murugan. Also there are many other festivals celebrated in the temple . You can add this place to your checklist of places to visit! So come relax and enjoy the peaceful place!

The miniature Big Ben Clock tower is in the middle of a roundabout in Victoria and I must say every time we drove through that roundabout we had a good time and many laughs. Definitely worth doing a couple drive bys as it is a beautiful little Clock Tower.

When in the Seychelles, it may be a good idea to take a day trip to La Digue. One of the best attractions is the Plantation House National Monument. Part of the L'Union estate, the main attraction is the restored Plantation House which gives one a glimpse of what a bucolic estate life was like in the colonial era. Aside from the House which is now a living museum and art gallery, there are other highlights nearby. This would include the cemetery as you walk into the estate, the copra and coconut oil factories, tortoises that are also near the massive monolithic black rock, beautiful gardens, a small vanilla plantation, and coconut palm trees. Also, as you walk through the Estate, you will end up in the Anse Source d'Argent, considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. It has powder-fine white sand, a surrounding coral reef, and small streams that weave through the jungle.
