The hermitage is a beautiful place, but not only that. It is possible to reach by car an intersection (on a stone road) where you can park. At this point a walk (30/40 minutes) with a beautiful natural landscape. Finally the hermitage, which is beautiful, then you can go further! Walk down past the hermitage and reach the river. Continuing towards the valley you will meet (on your left) the spring of San Bartolomeo. An absolutely recommended place, maybe with a guided tour.

Parco Giardino dei Ligustri - Giardino Pittoresco

Il giardino e un lussureggiante bosco di alberi sempreverdi, arbusti da fiore e palmizi situato in prossimità del centro storico di Loreto Aprutino. Sono numerose le specie botaniche presenti nel parco che crescono tra aiuole e viali prospettici. Si accede al giardino da un affascinante viale di cipressi con siepi e alberi di allori e ligustri. Ci sono pergolati, tunnel verdeggianti, scorci con statue e anfore, al centro del giardino c'è un laghetto con fontana immerso in una rigogliosa vegetazione di palme, arbusti e erbacee sempreverdi. Centro di educazione ambientale di interesse regionale. Giardino botanico tra i più interessanti d'Abruzzo.
