The NPS did a great job with what they had to work with here. THE markers for the original Tri -point marker for DC, Virginia, and Maryland, ...pretty cool. Great place to ride your bike or take a stroll. A lot of fun on a beautiful day. Easy hiking trails here as well .

We stopped here on our way to Mount Vernon. There’s a lot to explore and many opportunities for stretching your legs on a long trip. Picnic areas abound and clean rest rooms available. Parking was convenient too!

When you arrive at the JFK site you'll see an eternal flame that burns in the honor of JFK. You'll also see where his two brothers are buried along with other Kenedy family members. It's a little higher up the hill, but is deferentially worth the walk.

Historic Downtown

Reviewed By O3783LUdianek - Wallingford, United States

My daughter just moved to Leesburg in 2020 and we love visiting and walking around downtown. Cute shops and several restaurants and coffee shops to choose from. Very quaint and I could see that in the nice weather the outdoor dining options would be nice. Shop owners are friendly and it is a nice way to spend an afternoon.
