A wonderful gallery in Altona, which itself is a very pretty little town. The outdoor sculpture garden alone is worth visiting for. The beautiful old heritage building on site generally has about for different exhibits from different artists. The work is not for sale and there is no fee to enter. The work is often from collections that travel the country and show in various galleries.

Permanent display case in main airport terminal with tourist information and northern art and gift items. This is the only Churchill shop where you will find *only* items designed & made in Churchill, and meet the craftsman/maker himself. Jewelry, linocut relief prints, and glass work, unique to Churchill. Extended hours and accessibility during 'bear season', all efforts are made to be open for all arriving & departing planes. Despite rumours to the contrary, there is no phone number. My work is very visual. I don’t do any business over the phone. Email me. Check out my new Shopify page. These pandemic times have forced me to temporarily close my airport shop, but I can do 'contactless delivery' to you if you are visiting Churchill, and can ship to you if you are not.

Beautiful! The eyes follow you as you drive down the Highway. Comes from a famous piece of artwork certified by the artist. Come visit the Wolf Capital!

A Manitoba Star Attraction! The Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre houses the largest collection of marine reptile fossils in Canada. If you like dinosaurs or sea monsters you will love "Bruce" our 43 ft (13 mtr) Mosasaur, the fiercest of all the marine reptiles. He's bigger than a T Rex and just as scary. It's because of him that the Cretaceous seas were considered the most dangerous of all time. In 2015 the Guinness Book of World Records officially recognized Bruce as the largest Mosasaur on display ANYWHERE! Join our staff on the beautiful Manitoba Escarpment in their search for Bruce's mother. All you have to do is register for one of our Fossil Dig Programs to begin your own outdoor fossil finding adventure.
Our grandsons are both excited about dinosaurs, and luckily we have a great fossil museum just over an hour away from home. Tucked away in the community sports complex, the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre is a true gem. It's located in the basement, but there is easy access by stairs, or by ramps, so great for everyone. The museum is well laid out with great displays, which are visually pleasing and very informative. Of note is the easy view for visitors of all ages. There are some interactive displays and the huge fossil displays allow visitors to get right up close. The highlight is a world record fossil of a sea creature, located locally. Another aspect is that this is an active archeological laboratory with research going on as people visit. Highly recommended and well worth the trip...A must see if you're in the area.

Worth the trip to walk across the swinging bridge. Beautiful spot to see other sights such as the peacocks, we were lucky enough to watch a mom with her 7 peachicks! Easy to find parking and going for a stroll through Victoria park was a an added bonus. Would definitely return
