First of all world peace pagoda is in pokhara nepal and not in lumbini. If youre pokhara you must go to the peace pagoda. Two ways to go, the easy way is taking a cab up and just enjoying the amazing view on top of the himalayam mountain range and phewa tal from one side and another amazing voew to the other side. The second way to go to world peace pagoda is by taking a boat from any port in pokhara the town to the other side and hike the trail up to world peace pagoda which take around 45 mns approximately depending on the pace, and in the hike youll get to enjoy the amazing view every step of the way of the lake On short world peace pagoda on a clear day is like heaven

We visited this Chinese temple which is grand and huge. Similar to other big Chinese temples in China. The Abbot came out to meet us and took us to tour the temple. Peaceful with lots of gardens. Highly recommended if you want to light joss sticks, make vows, light lamps and receive blessings.

This is miracle and a top attraction in Lumbini. Birth place of Lord Gautam Buddha is really peaceful and lovely. Places are very well preserved and decorated by many friendly Bouddhist nations near Nepal. I loved my visit to Lumbini.

Our group of 20 pilgrims visited this temple on 2nd March 2020. The Abbess and her son who is a monk came to meet us. The son is the Abbot of Linh Son temple in Kushinega, India. Our purpose was to donate to the temple which is constructing a giant baby Buddha statue. We also donated to finance their school for the poor. I encourage pilgrims who have time to visit both temples in Kushinega and this temple. Both Abbess and the Abbot are very humble and compassionate. We will visit them again in the near future.
