Lingering over pain au chocolat in a sidewalk café, relaxing after a day of strolling along the Seine and marveling at icons like the Eiffel Tower and the Arc de Triomphe… the perfect Paris experience combines leisure and liveliness with enough time to savor both an exquisite meal and exhibits at the Louvre. Awaken your spirit at Notre Dame, bargain hunt at the Marché aux Puces de Montreuil or for goodies at the Marché Biologique Raspail, then cap it all off with a risqué show at the Moulin Rouge.

This royal palace, first home to Cardinal Richelieu and later a childhood home of Louis XIV, is longer open to the public, although its exquisite gardens can still be enjoyed.
Once a royal palace now the amazing spot to enjoy some relaxing time, since it's much less crowded than places nearby.

Built in 1826 in neoclassical style, Galerie Véro-Dodat is listed as a French historical landmark. The diagonal grid of black and white tiles is just one of its charms.

These stunning gilded lampposts can be seen within the Place de la Concorde, we have found during our visit in Paris, the visitor will be rewarded with more beauty if they stop and look more into the structures. These posts are so ornate, We have never spent this much time looking at or noticing a lamppost. So worth it.

Located within the garden Tuileries this is one of our favourite sculptures, due to the raw emotion that is being expressed, on close inspection it appears the figure (a man) is trying to defend two children from two serpents to a no avail, hence the title. The man and his misery.

This public square, which has a statue of Napoleon in its center, is known for the glitzy jewelry stores that surround it.
Place Vendome is a rather nice public square with many shops in the general area. We wandered around for a while enjoying the views. In the centre of the square there is a tall column which was erected by Napoleon to commemorate the battle of Austerlitz. It seems to dominate the square but it is quite an interesting column.
