An excellent place to rewind your spiritual feelings, with cool , Green Fresh environment, near the river side.... lot of devotees, mainly poor people, who pray with closed eyes sincerely to achieve their wishes....., The Jack fruit trees out side the the temples, were fully covered and loaded with plenty of fruits, even on the roots, gives you a luxurious look...which will create a happy mind, on the first sight itself.....

Beautiful, serene and quiet place. Full of divine vibrations on Mahashivaratri ... vedic chants in the temple on the banks of river Purna, river flow in synch with vedic chants , quiet and pleasant atmosphere - It is the "heaven on earth", "Abode of Shiva shakthi". I and my family visited Sharada maatha temple, Jagadguru temple and Lord Krishna temple. Participated in the Shivaratri puja for some time. I wish to visit this place frequently and be part of the cosmic blessings of Jagadguru and Maha Shakthi.

We were lucky to have visited this temple. Our driver took us to this temple. We were here around 11.30 am & it was closed for darshan for some time, then there was archana with a musical band of a different kind. there were three people playing different instruments & singing. What i noticed is that all of them were doing it so religiously with utmost sincerity. It was a beautiful experience. This is an ancient temple & one can feel the inner peace here. This temple is about 30 kms from Alleppy. Must visit if you get a chance.

I will not like to post this as a touristy review but rather one entwined in religious beliefs, tradition and faith. For those who believe in the snake God or atleast feel they need a certain release from their current situation be it Skin ailments, Family Issues or a state of being unmarried....then come here with the FAITH that you will be healed and blessed. The men at the reception can speak different languages to accommodate the different visitors world and Nation wide. To see Amae ( the Mother) & seek her blessings is a GIFT. If you are lucky and come with faith rather than doubt you will be blessed. Their generosity is amazing!!!! They invite each visitor to partake in the lunch they offer at noon. Simple but still a blessing to be invited. If you visit in the evening, they serve you Tea. They see that no one goes empty handed... that is the generosity of this family. They don't insist on pooja's or ask for offerings like other Temples. Instead they bless you double fold. You will leave feel lighter and contented.... it's and amazing place over sprawling land. Much of it is untouched and it's very tranquil and cool. Visit if you think you need to seek the blessing of Amae.

The Rajarajeswara temple is a Shiva temple located at Taliparamba in the Kannur district of Kerala, South India. The temple is regarded as one of the existing 108 ancient Shiva Temples of ancient Kerala. It also has a prominent place amongst the numerous Shiva temples in South India. It had the tallest shikhara amongst the temples of its time. The Rajarajeshwara temple has a top of about 90 tonnes. If any problem is encountered in the other temples of South India, devotees seek a solution in this temple through a prasna, a traditional method of astrological decision making.[citation needed] The prasna is conducted on a peedha (a raised platform) outside the temple.
