This is my 3rd time at the La Aurora Cigar Factory and on all three occasions, Eugenio has made me feel welcomed and has provided excellent and exceptional customer service. Eugenio Polanco is the reason why i return to this cigar factory each time i come to Santiago. This is the number 1 place to visit if visiting Santiago. Eugenio Polanco has always provided me with a good experience and i will be looking to return for the 4th time in the near future thanks to Eugenio Polanco. Keep up the good work.

Santo Domingo is the true metropolis of the Caribbean. It has dozens of 30 plus story buildings challenging notions of quaint tropical settings. Santo Domingo continues to rise and surprise visitors and locals.

Altos de Chavon, is an architectural wonder, a 16th century replica of a Mediterranean village perched high above the Chavón River. The village was designed by Dominican architect Jose Antonio Caro, and created by Italian master designer and cinematographer Roberto Coppa. Dominican artisans handcrafted the stone pathways, decorative ironwork, furniture and enchanting buildings, reviving almost forgotten crafts of metal work and stone carving. Under Coppa's direction, each stone was hand cut, each wooden door frame was handcrafted and each wrought-iron detail hand-forged. Construction of the village began in 1976 and the village was inaugurated in 1982 with the concert of Frank Sinatra at the amphitheater. Altos de Chavon was built as a center of culture for the Dominican people.

We visited n 2014 as part of an excursion and I’m so glad we went. The buildings and grounds are amazing to see. The amphitheater looks like something out of an old Roman movie. The fountain is absolutely beautiful. While walking through the grounds all we could smell was the hibiscus trees .. the Chavon river runs along it and we took a riverboat along the River where they filmed Rambo. Highly recommend a visit to this beautiful village

Secluded beach accessible only by trail or boat. I do recommend doing the trail part as it is more rewarding and you'll have a lot of fun!

Laguna Dudu is an exciting and mostly unknown paradise located on the north east coast of the Dominican Republic. It's surrounded by natural cliffs from which to swim, snorkel or free dive into refreshing clear waters. If you love adrenaline rush then try a zip line freefall from 10 meters. You may need to take a deep breath for this adventure. Once you finally takeoff for a subjective six seconds drop in thin air, and finish with a big splash. But it's also a spot worth visiting for it offers a cave to explore, a beautiful cove with other challenging experiences. There are stairs leading down to the water which enables smooth and easy access to both lagoons. With nature to explore and plenty of photographic spots. A visit to Laguna Dudu can easily be combined with two additional beach activities since it's located within minutes between two playas (beaches) Diamante and Arroyo Salado. We stopped by the Lagoon for a visit. The entrance fee was reasonable. everybody enjoy swimming in the lagoon and the cave was so fun to visit. For me, the music was too loud , but kids like it !! A must see :O)

My life was so enriched by visiting this spot. I really thought Santo Domingo was just about Bachata but i was wrong this place is so rich in history is full of sixteenth century architecture, former colonial buildings now turned museums, and embassies. Make sure you visit all this spots located along this historic zone include Fortaleza Ozama, the first fortress in the Americas, and the National Pantheon, resting place of the Dominican Republic’s national heroes, La Calle De Las Damas and The first cathedral build in the new continent (cathedral of Santa María)
