Church next to a mosque. George's tomb is located in the church. The legend is that in this place was the city of Diospolis, where the mother of George, a soldier of the Roman emperor Diocletian, lived. The church is small but very beautiful inside. The city is away from the huge tourist flow and the place is very peaceful. It is worth seeing if you make a small detour from Ben Gurion Airport on the way to Jerusalem.

This place is great for spending spare time with people, in the open air, with water activities, good food, coffee and snacks widely available nearby. Safe for children, the sea is nearby, a beautiful view of it from the boardwalk on a cliff above the sea. A great place to take the family for time out.

Victory Monument is located on a beautiful cliff above Mediterranean. All around the year fresh sea wind strokes your face The memorial consists of two elements which symbolize the transition from darkness to light reflecting the Russian military victory to stop the Holocaust of the Jewish people, followed by the establishment of the Jewish state in Israel. The memorial is designed as a maze, in which key tragic events in the history of the Jewish people during the Holocaust are depicted in reliefs. A representation of the Second World War is contained in black bunker. On the right describes the Holocaust, and on the left describes the war between Nazi Germany and the Soviet Union. At the end of the maze - the emergence into the light and open air, where white wings soar to the heavens as a symbol of victory, hope and peace, against the backdrop of Netanya's coastline.

What a surprise ! We were in Ramla not expecting anything special there but once inside ... Just look at the pictures I have attached... Yes it is small but really special ...The atmosphere is like the last Harry Langdon movie "Inferno" in the last part of the movie, in a Turkish pool under arches... And yes we were lucky to be there before the crowds so we hadn't to wait in line... We were also truly surprised to be allowed to take a wooden boat without paying any supplemental fee... Which is by the way cheap: 14sh and 20 for a combo of 2 sites (like the White Tower)... The pictures there are truly worth your time with the games of the lights and especially the sun on the water and the walls... So make sure to be there well equipped with your camera...

All of Israel built in miniature, with some action elements. A good way for kids to learn about the country.
The miniature park, which was opened in November 2002, contains miniature copies of hundreds of buildings and monuments of the country. The exposition consists of 350 miniature layouts, most of which are made on a 1:25 scale. The park contains religious, historical, archaeological, cultural and ethnic attractions and inscriptions are in Hebrew, Arabic and English. The park also includes a souvenir shop, several restaurants, recreation areas and a lecture hall in which films about Israel are shown. There is also an audio guide available in this park.

I am at Beit Lid Junction a lot and always see the staircase. It shows soldiers going to heaven and I really pray that all of those men killed by a terrorist are in heaven.
