Beautiful park and a perfect place to let kids run, play with the dog, or just walk around after eating at the soda shop next to the museum. Its tranquil. I'm surprised that more people weren't there.

This park is in the middle of a residential area and has a bit of everything for everyone. It has a picnic shelter, which is great for the northwest. It has swings and slides and climbing for all ages. The walking path is good and level for those who have difficulty walking but wish to be able to get some exercise in. The soccer field in the upper part of the park is a fun place to watch games being played out by some talented athletes. Overall - this is a hidden gem of a park in the middle of Bremerton. If you park on 5th street, you will have two hours of free parking, versus parking on 4th street, where it is only paid parking parallel to the park.

Decided to get out of the house today, and the kids voted to go somewhere with a beach. We hadn’t yet visited Sunnyside Beach, so we opted to check it out this morning. So glad we did and highly impressed! Such a beautiful area, great views, and a clean and friendly park with lots for kids to explore! Finding a beach with sandy spots and not just rocks was another huge bonus. Playground area was great, there were lots of picnic tables and benches for seating, bathrooms were extremely clean, drinking fountains were working, and there were showers past the sand volleyball court to rinse yourself off. When there’s not much open due to COVID, it is so nice to find a relaxing place to hang out. Parking is $5 cash (bring exact change).

We loved that the park had room for sporting events, BMX style bike track, skate board area and walking trails. Everyone looked like they were having a great time. Parking was pretty good. Our only concerned was the lack of social distancing or facial covering, but that is no fault of the park.

We took a walk along the beach, in September 2019 my friend caught a 20 lb King Salmon. Lots of toys for the kids to play on and picnic tables if you want to have a family picnic or you can put a blanket down and picnic on the ground. $3.00 entry fee - good for 24 hours.

We visit the park as often as we can! There are Pokemon stops, a duck pond, play ground, fishing, paths and trails to walk everywhere, off leash dog park and historical sites. Upkeep and bathrooms are decent, plenty of picnic sites and rental spaces available too! Right off the freeway, great place for a break from a road trip, have lunch, let the dog run around, etc.

This little park has something for everyone. Two play areas for children, a paved walking/bike path around the lake (really a good sized pond), covered picnic areas, bathrooms, and a ball field. Not to mention space to play frisbee and I see fisherman all the time. I don’t know if it is catch and release or catch and eat. Great fun for the whole family. It is also very well maintained by the City of Puyallup.
