July 20, 2021 Myesha Cogley

Not just for retirees and theme park enthusiasts, the Sunshine State offers beautiful beaches, pristine diving conditions, and sizzling nightlife. Salsa the night away in a smokin’ hot Miami club, or swing away at one of Kissimmee’s many premium golf courses. An airboat tour of the Everglades is an unforgettable adventure – just look out for alligators! For the risk-averse, a lazy day spent on the soft sands of an Emerald Coast beach is as rejuvenating as a spa treatment.

This park has allot of things to do for a small in town park. Play ground, walk paths, boardwalks to feed the fish, swimming pool, shuffle board. Relax on one of the many benches or picnic at the pavilions. You shouldn’t be bored.

Fellowship Park

We have been attending Cape Christian Fellowship since they used to meet in a school. It totally blew us away when they said they had enough money a few years ago to expand the size of the sanctuary so we could have only one Sunday service instead of three. We also have a service on Friday evenings for those who can't be there on Sunday.BUT, our church leaders decided to build Fellowship Park instead to share this space with EVERYONE in the community. A super great and safe playground, wonderful splash park and a great coffee shop plus other amenities have been provided to share. Also, a huge baptismal outdoor fountain was built to share with other churches in the area. It is beautiful and a testament to Cape Christian's commitment to Love God, Love People.

Royal Palm Beach Commons Park

Huge park with excellent air conditioned building to cool off. Nice bathrooms, two seperate playgrounds. It is a bit of a walk from the parking lot to the play area. In the summer they have fountains to play in, although they are sometimes broken or set on too high so not always great for babies.

This was the first beach I discovered while building a home here for my family. I stayed and the Amelia Hotel at the Beach and often ate at Sliders before a short evening beach hike. It was a great way to end a day of construction meetings and runs to Jacksonville to meet with suppliers, etc. I still enjoy visiting this beach with my wife now that we've settled into the area.
