Went here for a meal while staying in Bradford on Avon. We both had pizza although there were many other Italian dishes. Beautifully cooked with great side salad. The atmosphere was very friendly and the place was quite busy especially for early evening. Highly recommended.

Simple, home made (not just home cooked) food. Good wine, decently priced. Excellent espresso coffee. Reasonably priced. Wonderful views over the Avon river, with more or less guaranteed kingfisher spotting. We had lasagne, spaghetti pomodoro, tiramisu. Simple, not too much, delicious. We will keep coming when weâve time passing through.

One of the nicer places to eat in Frome. The staff are always helpful and friendly. The food is reasonably priced and good quality. The service is usually very good. The atmosphere downstairs is much nicer than upstairs and the wine and cocktails are nice. Itâs a great place to come as a family and the tables are spacious. Itâs not amazing but itâs certainly consistently very nice. Have been many times over the years as a couple or with my kids. Have tried the pizzas, lots of pasta dishes and the steak. All very good except the steak is very fatty and chewy if you have it rare, itâs only nice as a medium so I no longer order it as I like my steak still breathing. Would recommend this restaurant.

I wandered around Trowbridge on a rainy day looking for somewhere to eat lunch, and getting progressively more depressed by the offerings (stodgy pub food, chain fare (Wagamama, Nandos etc., boring sandwiches). The wonderfully helpful man in the Information Centre told me Caffe Italiano was his favourite spot to eat, and unusually was a BYO place. If you like hip or stylish interiors, stop reading now:this is seriously old-school, with school cafeteria-type tables and chairs, grungy lighting and faded tourist pictures of Italy on the walls. The owner, a friendly Italian lady, seems to run the place by herself. I chose the lunch deal, a generous plate of penne arrabiatta with a side salad for £8.30 or so, and my companion a Napolitana pizza. Both were fantastic, especially with our BYO Chianti. The Italian lady said she made her own cakes and puddings, which looked very enticing and change all the time apparently (today was tiramisu, chocolate coconut cheese cake or the lusciously alcoholic amaretto cream and almond sponge concoction that I went for). Two generous and delicious mains, one salad, one lush dessert and one excellent espresso later, our bill was a very reasonable £20. There is Italian love for food in this place. I hope Trowbridge returns the love! I will never eat anywhere else in Trowbridge.
Only just found this place after living in Westbury for over a year as not on the main road - have ordered through Just Eat/Hungry House a couple of times now.Firstly, on both occasions, home delivery has been extremely fast - approx 20 mins both times. Both times I've gone for the Chicken Shish kebab wrap and been very impressed - salad was fresh, decent size and quality of chicken and lovely griddled wrap.On the 2nd occasion they had no 9 inch pizzas in stock so gave us a 12 inch for no extra cost!Reason for 4 out of 5:No website and menu is far too large, I would prefer if they just stuck to great kebabs rather then trying to cater for all tastes, there is a lot of competition for business in the area. Pizza we had was ok but nothing special (good value though) and haven't tried anything else as yet.

An enjoyable evening, if a little strange. We'd booked to eat at La Dulce Vita well in advance of our trip to Warminster and had spent the weeks leading up to the meal checking the website for what we wanted to order. Upon arrival (ten mins before our table booking) we were told that our reservation had been given away but that they'd squeeze us in. When we looked at the menu it in no way resembled the online version and was streamlined to say the least, we were informed that there'd been a change of chef. The staff were lovely however and made us feel very welcome. The starters were average and my partner's steak wasn't the tastiest... but my main course - the Dulce Vita pasta special - was exceptional. The owner was extremely attentive and when she found out my fiance and I are getting married soon she was insistent that we have her limoncello ice cream to celebrate. It was delicious BUT when the bill came she'd charged us £6 for it... we didnt even want it which was bizarre. So a few ups and downs but overall a pleasant evening... highlight was the pasta main and the staff, lowlight was the starter and being made to pay for a dessert we didn't want!

A local restaurant close to Longleat with a difference! We are an Old Fire Station! There is a lot of fire service history in the building including old ladders and helmets. We offer a very relaxed and informal environment in which to dine, enjoy pizza fr
Brilliant food in a quirky setting of the old fire station. Lots of nods to the past use in the decoration.Food and service were both excellent, not rushed which was nice. The place was very busy so itâs a good idea to book in advance. Will definitely returnThanks Ian. How lovely to be greeted like old friends when visiting after a year! We love this place, especially on the 'all you can eat' buffet night (Wednesdays). Very good value for money, and a great variety of choice - 6 pasta dishes and lots of pizzas on the buffet. Looking forward to our next visit. I just wish they were open for lunch.

La Campagna aims to bring a vibrant, warm and welcoming dining experience with a unique combination of a traditional pub and an Italian Brasserie. All our food is cooked to order using only fresh and seasonal ingredients. We offer a set menu as well as ou
Second visit to this restaurant, both very satisfying. We had grandchild in tow, which is usually a distraction, but his children's meal kept him fully occupied and disappeared without urging. For the adults, a wide choice of very tasty dishes. Service friendly and efficient. A 'must return '.
