Difficult to score but disappointed with some aspects.The food was generally good. We shared a sour dough starter. It was really nice, if a bit filling. I eat fish when its available and for my main course I had the seabass. It was undercooked and plain. The worst prepared seabass I have had this year. On the other hand the vegetables were fresh and al dente. Just to my liking. My wife's main course was excellent. The choice of music was really good but it was far too loud. We had to shout at each other to be heard. The service was good. Made to feel welcome. Plenty of water provided. Good choice of wine.The seating is stylish wooden chairs but no cushion. The atmosphere is generally good. Just a shame about the loud music.In terms of value for money, we generally have a chat outside and assess the cost and overall experience against others in the area. This was difficult to assess because there were some excellent features and some poor ones but on balance we felt we can get better value elsewhere so we will not be rushing back.Thank you for reviewing Santoni and the positive comments about our welcoming service, wine choice, ambience, overall food and good music. We really appreciate this. Regarding the seabass that you felt was undercooked, we can only apologise, yet would have been happy to remedy this on the evening, either remaking or providing a new choice, had you had made us aware there were any issues. We understand sometimes that the music can seem loud when the restaurant is busy, but are more than happy to lower the volume when needed. A lovely discovery. An excellent Italian with sensible, affordable prices. The food I ordered was fresh and delicious- generous portions too! I love the exclusive Pizza Nero base - infused with healthy vegetable charcoal. They also do take away, and deliveries - including drink!This is a real find. Donât miss out on this place!

I ordered a slice of the bolognese pizza, and got twice as much as I expected. The slices are chopped in half in the window. The bolognese was delicious, some of the nicest pizza I've ever had. The base is more like a bread than your usual pizza, but so good! Out of the bolognese, meatball and margarita, the bolognese is best. Couldn't get on the wifi at the time to leave a review.

Our favourite Italian Restaurant and yet again it delivered on everything, service, food, welcome and most important value for money.Having been going to Grappolo for many years, we thought it well worth a new review following our visit last weekend.We received the usual friendly welcome and our drinks were served promptly. we had booked a table - always a must - and were shown to the table quickly with our drinks and given a menu.What made this visit better was that the menu was new and the new dishes were described to us and explained to help us make our choices.Must recommend the pasta with Ox cheek in tomato sauce - very tasty and one of the new items on the menu, and the Penne Romano.Overall another enjoyable night out and look forward to visiting again soon.Thank you so much for your fabulous review and comments! Had a great time with the wife. Staff were excellent especially with how busy it was. The magic tricks and pranks were a lovely touch and created a great atmosphere. But the best bit was the food which was absolutely amazing. I have paid much more for food in the past which hasn't come close to this. I have already arranged to visit again with the whole family. Went to WFD last night for our daughters birthday! What a fabevening. Staff couldnât have done anymore for us. The dough balls amazing, the sharing platter amazing, the pizzas all amazing! They even made the Nutella pizza for my daughter even though it wasnât on the menu that evening! Thank you for wonderful evening!

The pizzas are to die for. We had some pizza slices, bruschetta, meat balls, calamari washed down with LIVINâItalyâs own fruity IPAFood excellent, service brilliant, atmosphere great.LIVINâItaly is the best restaurant in central Leeds.Well worth a visit. Called in on spec and just managed to get the last table on a very busy Saturday . I would avoid the main 12-1.30 time if possible. We intended to have pizza as they are gorgeous but changed our mind & went for the daily special , which was aubergines ( not mouska) and a sauce and it was delicious & the garlic bread was yummy. There are tables for sitting out if you have a dog .

Enjoyed another spectacular evening with our pals and kids tonight. We sat outside......we could have been abroad. Such a lovely ambiance. Luigi and jo work so hard to make everything lovely. The food was fab, the staff are so helpful and enthusiastic. They even had live music tonight, a real treat!!!!Honestly couldnât think of anywhere we enjoy more. We are on a countdown now until they return from their well deserved break. Thanks again guys xx
