Sean is an awesome manager and he treated our group great! We called in a last minute party of 30 and he was working alone. He called in a few workers and they had food out to our table in a matter of minutes. I was amazed and grateful. Would definitely come here again.

Every year when I return home to visit my family in Iowa I always go back to Godfathers. This pizza restaurant has been around since my college years and during our late night studies they always delivered. They make the best taco pizza on the planet (and I've travelled all around the world and have yet to find anything equivalent). If they only delivered to Indonesia I'd be the happiest person on the planet! Looking forwards to my next visit to Godfather's in a few months when I return home! Salad bar is great too!

I have to give Domino's credit, they have improved their food since we moved here 5 years ao but it is still another average pizza chain with moderately priced average pizzas. I still have yet to find a consistently great pizza place that stands out from all the rest here.

This represents the best in local chain restaurants. The host greeting us was friendly and accommodating. Our server provided great service even though it was clear they were understaffed. She busted her bottom and maintained her cool. I've never had anything besides the pizza and it is great. We ordered a double deckeroni. The first thing you will notice about OP pizza is the amount of cheese. They don't skimp and they have a tasty blend. The next is the crisp, yet flaky crust that is French bread like. The sauce is tangy and their pepperoni is well seasoned. I just love the simplicity of their pizza and I try to stop at an OP if I am in their neighborhood.

the outside of this bar doesn't look like much but the inside is quite nice. it is always decorated according to the season or in all lighthouse theme. the service is great and they are super friendly here. the pizza...so darned good! a bit pricey but soooo good! love love love it!

The food was so good we returned the very next weekend and ordered the same thing. I had veggie pizza and my husband had the fish sandwich. Both were delicious, thus our return the very next week! Before that, it's been years since we've been to Z's. We forgot how great it was, and will become regulars again. This is a nice combination of bar food and cafe food. It's a favorite neighborhood restaurant for many. Offering killer pizza, dinners and basket choices along with daily specials. And the beer is served in iced frosty mugs as it was 30 years ago. So is it bar food or cafe/diner food? I don't know but we like it. If you are in Cedar Falls/Waterloo and looking for a great pizza this is one of a few great pizza restaurants in the area. But if you're looking for bar/diner food this place really rocks. Great place to bring out of town guests! Families seem to love it. Servers and even cooks are friendly. Very value priced.

You can select one of their recipes or tell them exactly what you want on your pizza just like you can do with your sub sandwich at Subway. Each individual pizza cost $8.25 regardless of how many toppings you have. There's a wide variety of vegetables, meats, and cheeses. Because the pizza is cooked in a wood oven right by the fire, they will be little charred bits on your pizza but they are very flavorful and even though they look like they are burnt, they are not! I highly recommend this place and we will be back. Oh, another plus: they have the Coca-Cola Freestyle machines allowing you to make just about any combination of flavors.

This is a long-time family local family business. We all know Mama Nicks has great pizza. A few weeks ago about 20 of us gathered there and had pizza, appetizers and french bread sandwiches. We stopped at Basal Pizza after visiting the Sullivan Brothers Museum. It is located downtown and only a few blocks. The pizza was delicious. It was homemade and so much better than the chain pizza places. It has different ingredients and yummy. I canât remember our favorite pizza but on the menu it had rosemary on the pizza. The place is quaint and the staff was efficient and friendly. If I am ever in Waterloo again, I will eat at here again.
