Seeing the place, we had to stop. Hard to find a place to park in this quaint little town, but well worth the patience to find one. Greeted by two beautiful ladies behind the bar that were very nice in helping us with a place to stay. Once wife found a place to park with the help of one of the employees, we went in and had an early dinner. Wife had the clam chowder that she said was delicious, although she kept stealing my pizza, which was DELICIOUS!!! Place was very nostalgic with all the pictures from the movie and a TV showing the film while we ate. Had Alisa wait on us...great server and very nice. We will definitely go back next time we're in the area.
In between walks along Napatree Point we stopped in here to grab some pizza for dinner. It was still not the summer season, so the parking lot wasn't crowded at all. When we walked in we were greeted by their super friendly staff. They were incredibly nice and courteous, bringing out pizza and appetizers outside where we were the first people to try out their new picnic table. The pizza was very good and super cheesy, which drew no complaints from any of us. The Pepperoni Lovers I got was definitely extra thick crush as mentioned on their menu, which filled me up fast. Next time I'll opt for a regular crust choice, haha!Overall, I can't compliment enough how nice the staff was. If you want good pizza served by great people, come here.

Lots of people flock to Mystic Pizza because of the movie but the best pizza in Mystic is at Pizzetta. Love their thin crust and outdoor dining patio. I have eaten there many times and have never been disappointed. My favorite is their meat lovers pizza. Itâs a carnivoreâs delight.
We went there for breakfast and dinner . My husband and I both agree the food was good and service good too. They serve everything from breakfast, lunch, dinner. Food from Italian American and Greek. Ok very good desert

Went on an early Saturday evening. Only three other tables occupied so with a (high temperature) coal fired oven I didnât expect the wait we had. Only âcomplaintâ. Pizza was excellent with the slight char which is to be expected. Oval shape a bit different; gave four triangular pieces and four rectangular pieces. Nice Craft beer selection on draft. My hagiarchy of pizza has coal fired at the top, then brick oven and then gas fired oven. Even with the best ingredients and a good baker, gas fired is hard to equal a coal fired pizza. The one we had a Providence Coal Fired Pizza is right up there with the best Iâve had. Rating should probably be a 4 1/2.

We, a family group of 5 adults and 3 children, celebrated my sister-in-law's birthday at PizzaPlace. GOOD CHOICE! Taylor, our waitstaff, promply took drink orders and brought crayons along with pictures for the kids to color. Beverages included Diet Coke ($2.45), CranGrape ($2.00), Rootbeer ($2.45) and Chocolate Milk ($2.50). A generous serving of Foccacia ($5.50) and 3 large pizzas (BBQ ($15.15), Mozzarella ($12.00), Pepperoni ($13.75)) was more than enough for everyone. Copious servings of Blacksmith Salad (1@small ($7.50), 1 @ regular ($9.95) were shared. Total tab for a DELICIOUS meal befitting a 76th Birthday celebration: $87.60

saw a bad review but saw so many good ones we decided to go here anyway and see if what people were telling us was true. go,you will love it it is great. So we went into this shopping plaza and parked in front. Good amount of parking available. Were brought to a booth and a young lady named Shannon took care of us. We did not even order when she brought over two small slices of a thin crust, just out of the oven pizza. It was great. I knew at once we were going to be happy here. I found out that they not only own this location but had purchased two other Italian pizza restaurants that we had been to and loved but just purchase interest in another place we go near home that we always go to as well and is a full Italian restaurant in Charlestown down near the breachway. These young people are really cranking and doing something very right. We ordered just two items. one is the best Calzone I have ever had. The dough was light, fluffy, tasty and was baked just right. inside was spinach with artichokes, ricotta cheese, and came with a side of marinara sauce.Outstanding. we also ordered a large plain thin crust cheese pizzathe dough was like pastry and thin and had lots of sauce and cheese. again, I ate the crust dipped in the sauce.again,outstanding.They do sell pizza by the slice.and full meals of Italian fare.

We go to Stonington Pizza Place for lunch, at least once a week.My wife and I love the eggplant casserole which comes with garlic bread too.Really good eating and always good.
We visited Ocean House, in Watch Hill, RI in late May, just before Memorial Day, and stopped into The Dune Cottage, down on the beach for wine, while taking in the great ocean view. Memorial Day is rather a big event, as it signals the beginning of âthe season,â and The Dune Cottage was sort of coming out of hibernation. While it is open year-around, weather permitting, it really comes into its own, on the weekend before Memorial Day, and prior to that, is but an abbreviation of its âSummer self.â We got to see it âcome to life,â as the holiday weekend approached. On our first visit, staff was setting up The Dune Cottage for full operation, and new folk were being taught the drills. When we arrived, chairs, sofas and tables were being set up on the beach, just off of the patio, which surrounds the âcottageâ and its boardwalk. At first we were not sure if they were fully opened, but one of the staff said that they were, and if we did not mind watching the furniture come out of storage, we were welcome to the âbest seat in the house,â which was a nice table, at the railing of the partially covered patio area. As it was still a cool morning, we were the only patrons. Now, The Dune Cottage is several things: the entrance to the beach from the Ocean House, a restaurant (limited menu), a bar (with wine), the food/beverage service center for the cabañas and a focal point for beach goers in the area. It has a âhutâ (not a âcottageâ by almost any definition), a wooden patio with sail awnings covering it, a beach seating area, and then the cabañas, and later in our stay, myriad beach chairs and umbrellas. While the wine list is an abbreviation of the ones at the main dining areas, and bars at the Ocean House, there was enough to work with â at least for me â the Joseph Drouhin Chassagne-Montrachet! We ordered, to find that much of the wine had not been brought down from the Bistro barâs wine cellar, but our server begged us to wait, and it would be in-hand very quickly â and it was. One good thing about our glasses of this lovely Chardonnay, is that by the time the wine got down from the âmain house,â it had warmed up a bit. On our entire stay at Ocean House, with its excellent service, food and an extensive wine list, we found that most of the white wines were served too cold. This is probably a sign of the beverage staff trying to accommodate the tastes of the majority of their clientele. Especially with a bigger Chardonnay, we like the temperature to be just below âcellar temp,â so in the 50-55 F range. Most were served at a temp that we find better for Champagnes and sparklers, around 40-45F. With its little journey down to the beach, the Drouhin was just about right! A little patience paid off.Service was very good, even with folk doing other things, and the new âtrainees.â It was friendly, and very accommodating.Later in our stay, we stopped in for lunch, but a cold, heavy fog had rolled in, and even with our foul-weather gear, we decided after a few minutes, that we would head back to Ocean House, and dine in the shelter of Veranda. We were going to stop back, the next day, without that fog, but time got away from us. We did get to peek at The Dune Cottage, on the Saturday before Memorial Day (our departure day), to see what it looked like in full-swing, with hundreds of patrons. It seemed like all of the trainees had learned their lessons, and were scampering everywhere with the crowd â a different scene and vibe, than on our first two visits. Also, I would guess that 200 beach chairs had materialized too.Nice little wine list, interesting short food menu, friendly service and a lovely venue â we will return.
