This is a friendly, noisy, large restaurant, with very good Italian food, overall. The eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti ($15.95) was very good, but needed more sauce and less cheese. The chicken piccata ($16.95) was a bit dry, but came with very nice potatoes and overcooked green beans. The raviolis ($14.50) were excellent though and the salads quite good.Service was efficient and friendly.

Wonderful Italian Restaurant in the Hamlet of Montgomery New York
I am not sure who the person behind the register was, but upon entering the restaurant for our first time, the "gentleman" basically barked that the dining area is "in the back." The front of the shop has a few tables and chairs for the pizza, etc. and the back is where the more proper restaurant is.The services was surprisingly good. Though very young (maybe high-schoolers?), the waitstaff were very friendly and efficient. The meals we had were pretty good, with large portions (i.e. doggy bag). We ended the evening with an order of zeppoles, a HUGE plate loaded with hot, sugared, delicious fried dough. Once dinner was done and we went up front to pay, the same "gentleman" was cursing about the phones not working, picking up a ringing phone and then slamming it down. If it had not been for the great waitstaff, I would have rated Cascarino's lower due to the inappropriate behavior/ attitude of who the customers have to deal with.
Amazing! Amazing! Amazing! This restaurant was recommended by 3 different people all within a span of as afternoon. I think it's a disservice to have pizza as a part of their name because their menu is so much more. My co-worker got a snapper dish with brussel sprouts & mashed potatoes and raved about her dinner. I got the restaurants version of carbonara & fell in love. Janine was our server and we couldn't have asked for anyone better. She was attentive but not intrusive. Our glasses were never less than 1/2 empty and she always magically appeared when we needed something. If I were to ever come back to the area again I'd certainly come back & I'd ask for Janine. Outstanding food & superior service.

Stopped for lunch on our way to storm king art center, about 10 minutes away. Huge menu ranging from Pizza, through fantastic salads, through all kinds of sandwiches and breakfast items. Homemade baked goods and ice cream.Breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Focus on Italian food and pastries.Chopped salad for $10.95 was huge and the chicken was tender.Impeccably clean. Delightful staff focused on making sure you were happy. Very casual. Worth a stop when sightseeing in the area.

We had an excellent Italian dinner at this very pleasant Italian restaurant near the Woodbury shopping center.Service was outstanding, the toilets were very clean, the decor is interesting and complex, and several dishes from the vast menu were beautifully prepared.Servings were very large, so sharing a single dish is a real option.

What a nice surprise - a restaurant that totally lived up to its reviews. Server was efficient and friendly, food was delicious - totally reccommend the spicy chicken pasta. Only downside was the noise level...definitely NOT the place for a quiet romantic dinner.

Visited solely based on the other TripAdvisor reviews and very glad we did. Service: Could this be the best part of our visit? Our waitress was so personable and really seemed like she enjoyed serving her customers. She talked to all her customers like she's known them for years - maybe she has.. couldn't ask for more.Value: Viewed their menu online and was set on their $17 pizza and chicken parm combo advertised online. We were a little disappointed to see written in on their menu that it was for "carry out only". Food: We still ordered it as a chicken parmigiana sandwich which was very good. The cheese pizza was good but maybe not great, but still better than most in the area. To note we were offered and served chips & salsa before our meal. The salsa was very good while the chips were a little stale. Overall the food was satisfying and was on par for the #1 restaurant in Salisbury Mills.Overall this was a great choice - no doubt we will be back.
We decided to have the sausage pizza and the veggie antipasto "to go". The atmosphere of the place is not much but the food was tasty.

Got excellent service when we ate there, but most of the time we do pick up orders. There must be a new pizza maker over the past 4-5 months because the pizzas used to be flavorful and nicely browned crust. Now, the sauce is terrible and pizza either over cooked or undercooked. No longer order from them.
