The new Espositos owners are delightfully preparing great Italian fare again. From pizza to platters to sandwiches and salads, we are very thankful to have this fine restaurant on our "yes" list! It's a keeper! Costs are competitive with surrounding places but the taste is what will keep you returning.
Well to be honest with you the one in Bayville is ten times better than the one in Forked River. When ever i order from Forked River I'm always dissatisfied because I'm trying to compair to Bayville and it doesn't work. Never had bad take out from Bayville love their chicken wings, canolies, pizza and more.

If you like pizza and Italian food you will like Marchioni's Pizza and Pasta. I have been here several times and have always enjoyed the food , and never been disappointed. The Pizza is fresh and served hot. They use premium ingredients and the freshest available. Plenty of topping chooses too.I am a big fan of their Hot Muscles. In my opinion they should bottle the sauce and sell it nationally. The muscles are large , and very tender. They are cooked to perfection. The fried calamari is also great.I have eaten a lot of Chicken Franches in my life. This was tops! A surprise for a restaurant this type and size. I mean this is all Italian and all Juicy. I would throw this Chicken up against a five star restaurant, and it would win!The salads are good and the wings are good. They also make a great burger. The prices are very reasonable, and in fact surprisingly low given the quality of the food. The restaurant has seating. It is kept extremely clean. The restrooms extremely clean. The staff is extremely friendly! The owner is a great guy, and yes, he is very involved in the business and really cares about his guests. If you are in this area, be sure to stop here!

In April 2014, I relocated back to the New Jersey Shore. Coming from a major metropolitan area, finding local eateries with decent gluten-free options has been difficult. At Vesuvio, you'll find an authentic and casual dining establishment - large menu - and a great tasting Gluten Free Pizza Option! For about $13, you get a decent size personal pizza with up to 3 toppings you choose! My choices included ricotta, mozzarella and broccoli and it was GREAT.My family members enjoyed non gluten-free options - there are many - from many salads and pastas to hot or cold subs, lots of pizza choices, entree's and appetizers. Desserts are not to be missed and include Homemade Tiramisu and Cannepoli. If you dine in, the small dining room serves everything on the menu in a very casual format. I would have guessed our server was maybe the owner or certainly a long-time employee. She was great! It's a no frills space, but perfect for enjoying the great food (complete with a nice mural, I presume of somewhere in Italy). It's BYOB, so bring along your favorite bottle of wine to enjoy with the many Italian dishes. Don't be fooled by the strip mall location, you'll enjoy great food and service at Vesuivio - and for gluten-free folks, an option for delicious pizza made your way. Skip the chains, and try Vesuvio for a casual night out for dinner.

When my parents first moved into the area , and I came to visit, , Vinnie's was our family dine out place. The food was great and the staff was great. In my opinion, both the food and service declined over time. The food quality and preparation to be of far lower quality and taste of the competition. There were times they got they orders wrong. We had to send food back . I hope they turn it around. But I go elsewhere now.

Been here several times in the past year after driving by it for years. Food is always good and it's not over-priced. Great place to spend an evening; good food and a bottle of wine.

We have a few Italian restaurants in the area here, and most are fine, but I really like Luigi's for a couple of reasons. First of all, there's a separate area from the restaurant for just having pizza or some other small meal. Second, the service is friendly, efficient, and fairly quick. We've had pasta dishes there and pizza, and I have no complaints about the food or service. The cost isn't cheap, but it's within the range of what is charged elsewhere.

Last night I had the extreme pleasure of eating at the Casereccio Family Pizzeria & Tavola Calda Restaurant. The Restaurant is located in a strip mall storefront not much to speak of and for all purposes looks like a Pizza Parlor, Not impressive at first glance. The restaurant has some tables in it and you eat by the front window. But this where your questions stops about this place. First the staff is super friending wanting to serve you. Then the food is out of this world.First the large salad with choice of dressing. We ate the pasta with Bolognese Sauce. We all agreed this was the best we have eaten since Little Italy. The bread knots were a meal in themselves ( ate too many). To finish the meal we had cannolis Fresh and crips shells and not too sweet. Only drawback was they do not own an espresso machine. I hope they make it becasue this is on the top of my list for Italian cuisine. Believe it or not they are open for breakfast, lunch and dinner

They will make pizza the way you like it just ask. Want a thin crust pizza with light sauce and extra sausage, just ask. I suspect they use the best flour, cheese, sauce and other ingredients available, there is no other way of explaining the high quality of their pizza. Their calamari is light and delicious, the extensive menu seems to hit all of the Italian bases. Their garlic knots are loaded with garlic if you care for such things.
