The hotel we had booked had no facilities available due to renovation work (which we had not been told about when we booked). However this small and cosy pizzeria was just the job and a short walk away - snug and warm with very personable staff.Good range of food and menus in English which were well translated.House wine very drinkable and inexpensive.

Had a lovely dinner here last week. The food was excellent and I do recommend that you leave enough room for a dessert - the millefeuille was the best! Good, friendly, professional service and a lovely location on the lake. I hope to return one day.

good food, good location, efficient staff and fair prices. Each time we went we had nice food with good service. We booked a dinner on a public holiday so they were short staffed but each team member worked hard to serve all the customer and deliver hot tasty food. Keep up the good work.

... doesnât reside here. We were three adults and a 7 year old, sat at a small table on a Sunday evening. The venue is modern (recently opened), reasonably funky, in a light industrial/commercial area. It was quite busy, but probably because it was a Sunday and because a lot of the local eateries are shut-down during the off-season. They offer quite a selection of pizze, but they are very similar and mainstream; no adventurous variations here. Prices are average. The pizze delivered to our table were large and generously topped. While cooked on demand, the pizze proved to be soggy and insipid (and, for some, indigestible). Mine was spicy salame and nduja sausage but had no kick at all. We asked for chilli oil (a standard condiment in any pizzeria) and got supermarket chilli powder. Service was prompt but largely charmless and they got our coffee order wrong. For a new venue, the experience should have been much better. Instead it proved, unadventurous, but unforgettable, for the wrong reasons.

My family and I had a bad experience in restaurant. Firstly, the risotto was tasteless and watery and the rice was hard. Also, the quantity was scarce. Then, we had to ask for the bill several times (4 or more) because the waitress didn't bring it to us. After 30 minutes waiting, she gave it in a rude way. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anybody.

Staying at a local campsite, I ate here three nights running. All were excellent. Very popular, it's essential to book. Good wine by the carafe or bottle, the range of food is excellent: ranging from the usual Italian classics to a good steak, swordfish and other seafoods. Good, friendly team directed by hyper-active 'mama' who is really sweet. Good for families. Big outdoor eating area.

There will be a wait as this is a very busy place. Sit out the front in summer and watch the world go by. The food is definately worth the wait.

For a fantastic pizza this is the place to go. Forget the starters and puddings. This is not a gourmet restaurant, it's unpretentious and great for families. Go early or book as it's always busy.

Very good restaurant We ate there in the day of my anniversary with my wife and her family. The pizza is absolutely great (made in wood woven), there are a lot of choices and the price is very affordable. The most expensive pizza was 8.5 euro. We shared s
Not the most glorious setting looking at all the parked cars in Piazza Mercato but it took nothing away from the meal. Full of locals when we came we found the service friendly and efficient given our âshabbyâ Italian. Good servings, tasty meals and excellent pizzas made for an enjoyable and relatively cheap meal. Happy to repeat the experience.

A lovely family run restaurant tucked away in the back streets of Pallanza. There's certainly no view of the lake but this is made up for by the homely nature of the restaurant. Good choice of well cooked food. I had the minestrone soup followed by sea bass with vegetables, both cooked to perfection. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her spaghetti with clams and shrimps. The panna cotta was up to Master Chef (UK TV programme) standards. Very good choice of reasonably priced wine.A nice touch was the husband and wife owners coming to have a chat with us at the end of the meal. Not fine dining, but a really good meal enjoyed by us both.Very reasonably pricedWould happily return.
