When my husband and I moved to Lansdowne 16 years ago, we tried Acropolis Pizza because they were there. Their pizza is so good, we have rarely tried anywhere else, and when we have, other places just don't compare. Their crust is crisp without being hard and crunchy, and their sauce is excellent. As a vegetarian, I love their mushroom and black olive pizza. Also white pizza with extra garlic.
I use to live across the street from Valentino's a couple of years ago. I recently went back to have some of the pizza and they still had great pizza. We has Large Cheese and Large Pepperoni and Sausage mixed. Great taste, we love it and get pizza from them every time we are in town

I always enjoy whatever I get at the cafe or the bistro. I especially like the lunch options. The food is fresh, healthy and there's always something interesting to choose from. There are some nice cocktails as well. I come a few times a year and it's always a good experience. Will be back for sure! I've also had the catering at work a few times and it's great and they always provide extra focaccia :)
My husband and I went to Upper Darby to see a show at the Tower Theater. We did not eat dinner before arriving in town. We were hoping to find something decent to eat within walking distance of the theater. There did not seem to be too many dining options within a 3 block walk of the theater--2 or 3 pizza joints, a buffet place and a McDonalds. We checked out all 3 pizza places before deciding to go with Leandro's. The other two places were located closer to the Tower Theater and the 69th street terminal rail system, but looked filthy! They were also empty--no customers. We saw a few people walking around the street with cups and pizza boxes from Leandro's. We also saw customers going in & out of Leandro's Pizza House. So we decided to check it out. From the outside it merely looked like a pizza counter with a few small booths in the back. Once inside, you could see the pizza counter was clean and brightly lit. They had a few pizza pies laid out so you could see the pre-made pizza slice selections. The counterhelp was very friendly and quickly took our order. We ordered 3 slices of cheese pizza and a large coke. Within minutes our warmed up slices were out of the pizza oven & being handed over to us on plastc trays. We made our way to the back of the building where they have a small table with spices (garlic, cheese, oregano, etc) and a few small booths. We added some garlic & oregano to our fairly large slices and then made our way into the side dining room. This was a pleasant surprise. From the outside of the building--looking in--you couldn't even tell that they had a side dining room. The dining room was not large, but probably had 15 booths. It was brightly lit, clean and decorated nicely for a small pizza place. They had pretty decent artwork on the walls and vases with flowers on each table. It was not fancy, but nice--MUCH MUCH nicer than the local competition! It definately was a breath of fresh air compared to the other dives we had seen up the block. The pizza was decent for the price. I think plain cheese slices ran around $2 each. They were decent sized and had good flavor. I think they were a little bland, but they had the spices on the side so you could add more spice IF you needed to. They had a generous amount of cheese on the slices, but were a tad little light on the pizza sauce. Since they had lots of cheese, the slices were a tad greasy--but, nothing a blot with a napkin couldn't fix! Overall, we enjoyed the slices. They were not amazingly good, but decent for the price. If you are visiting the Tower Theater--it is probably one of your best options for a quick slice at a decent price with clean, well-lit sit down dining areas. The only other decent dining option in the area looks like the Waterford Inn Restaurant & Bar, but we didn't discover it until later (maybe next time).Note: Restrooms are SUPER small & not the cleanest. IF you are visiting the Tower Theater, wait to use the ones at the Tower if possible. Nearby parking is metered parking or a pay lot.

We've ordered many different foods from Keystone and have never been disappointed by any of it. They will take special orders; we don't/can't eat too much tomato sauce so we ask for pizzas with less sauce. This is the only place (except formerly Mario and Geno's Pizza, which no longer is in business) that consistently gets it right. Delicious, not greasy but cheesy. Would like to try their gourmet pizzas, but everyone else likes only plain. Their steak sandwiches are huge and loaded with meat that it ends up being a meal for 2 people. Chicken fingers, fries, breaded mushrooms are always hot and without the heavy oily taste. Good platters and seafood too. They also give free soda with purchases of $25 and offer coupons for pizzas and combo meals. Service has been good; orders have been accurate (with only one exception and even then they sent a driver to deliver the missing item). A great local establishment; hope they stay around for a long time.

Many people recommended the wings from Verona's. The hot wings we got were tasty but way too small from what we are used to. The place is beautiful and the gentleman at the counter was very friendly. We also ordered a large pizza with half mushroom and sweet pepper and half pepperoni. It was an above average pie. We will try them again and try a couple different things.

Had a very nice lunch- tacos and beers - with a business associate. Service very good and staff friendly and accommodating. Tacos were crispy chicken- three on a board. I would order again! Lunch event was spoiled by an overzealous Havertown parking nazi who wrote me a ticket in an unmarked, no meter spot. Thanks Havertown..

My boyfriend and I have not been to Pica's for years. We went on Saturday 2/2/2019, what a pleasant surprise. The food is even better than I remembered. The service was great. Prices are very affordable. Dennis ordered the Seafood combination and I ordered Veal Marsala. Also, garlic bread. Everything was served hot and we had leftovers for the next day. Great place, we will be going back soon.
