Very busy restaurant, reservations are highly recommended. Attentive staff, the usual exuberant Italian greetings etc. Extensive food and wine menu. Lovely atmosphere/ambiance. Food very good but IMHO way overpriced. I've had the same quality of Italian food at smaller, less ostentatious , authentic Italians for a lit less money. I'll probably go back for a special occasion.

This has been my favorite pizzeria in Kaiserslautern for over 2 decades and I have never been disappointed. I am always returning here when in town, Very friendly staff and not only the pizzas but even the special dishes (fish) announced as daily specials on the board are recommended.

This restaurant has become my new favorite place! It's been in business for about 5 months. Is a beautiful restaurant with such an elegant atmosphere and great food and options. The prices are fenomenal and the portions are just perfect. It is family friendly due to having high chairs and a nice selection of kids meals. The desert menu is jaw dropping and the staff is very friendly. They also accommodate for take out orders.I had the Carbonara penne pasta and I did not want my meal to end. My wife had the Chef pasta with shrimp and it was amazing. My kids had the Margarita pizza x2.....it was that good!! I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to go for a date night or family dinner.

We ordered red and white wine and calzone. The pizza was very tastefull. We didn't like the ambiance. The staff was kind. We're used to more "chaos" in italian restaurants and for us that was missing here. We didn't want a dessert but limocello.....no limocello!

The title says it all, I really think the pizza is ok. The price is ok, it's just average. They have a nice brick oven but they ruin it somehow by making it soggy. Even if you don't load up on toppings. I lived in Italy for 4 years, this isn't Italian it's German Italian.

Having recently traveled to Italy, we were spoiled with fantastic authentic Italian food. And here in Germany, it seems all too often that the local "Italian" restaurants, seem to have Schnitzel on the menu, and when they do, the Italian food is often times, more Germanic, and lacking that true Italian pizzaz! That said, I was reluctant to follow a friend's recommendation to try the "Self-Help" bistro in K-town, near the mall; as I've been fooled before. Much to my surprise, Vapiano was amazing! Placing your order directly to the chef, who uses the fresh ingredients right before your eyes was a real treat. They were friendly and happy to accommodate. Finally, the food was wonderful. It reminded me of Tuscany, with an explosion of freshness and goodness. We will definitely visit Vapiano's again, soon!

The pasticiati is one of the best there is in town and if you can go for the mixed starters, it's deffinately worth it
"ON TO NEW SHORES..." From 1st of August 2018 we are pleased to be your host under a new leadership, with a completely renewed concept and would like to spoil you with a clever "Palatine kitchen", unique burgers, classic, delicious desserts and other deli
I have to raise my rating. It just keeps getting better. The regular menu is quite good and they have a chalkboard they update with new specials on a regular basis. Right now there is a salmon and spinach pizza that is to die for. Verica and her family are very sweet and speak a number of languages. I'll cry when I move away in a couple of years.
Fazit: klare Empfehlung
