After visiting Villa d'Este we had lunch in this lovely small restaurant. The calzone was the best and it costed only 2.50 euros. They prepared it in front of us, it was very tasty. I highly recommend it to anyone, who is planning a trip to Tivoli.

After searching the area for somewhere to eat, we found this place. It was terrific, excellent, well prepared and tasty food. There was an extensive choice of food, several beers on tap and a decent wine list. My white "Bosca" pizza was lovely, though they do seem to like their crusts well done. I can live with that as it was terrific! Highly recommended.

Management stood around in a daze ignoring customers, whilst waiters ran around like headless chickens. No clear welcome location for outside diners.Needs to have a stand notifying where to wait to be served for a table. Zero customer service amazing as the management had plenty of chance to talk to interact with customers whilst they waited.Chef special. Was a small piece of fish in a white sauce dusted with cocoa? why not use with truffle or finely dried mushroom. We know what purest the locals are when it comes to food. The pizza arrives uncut so we struggle to slice it up without losing too much on the floor. Tables way to small for three to be seated if you had more than one or two starters your in trouble. Guys, you have one chance to get this right. I suggest you have some staff training and management need to get their act together if you want to succeed in this tough marketSempre lei ne ha fatta un altra.....tranquillo....non ci rimaniamo male.....buon tutto...

We found this place after meeting an English teacher (an Italian lady who teaches English to Italians) in the grocery store. She mentioned her friend, restauranteur/author Massimo Solini, the owner, was very welcoming to English speakers, since it allows him to practice his English. We came, we ate, we loved. Pasta to die for. Just go.

This restaurant was recommended by friends who had visited previously and it was a great suggestion . The food was well cooked and delicious and certainly not overpriced . The view from the window into the river valley with the waterfall and temple of Sybil is wonderful . Even better if it is warm enough to be on the terrace .

Located only 500 meters from the entrance to Villa Adriano You find this nice surprise of a restaurant. It is possible to be seated both inside or outside under the trees. They have delightful meals at low cost and the tables are set so nicely. One advice: It takes a LONG time to pay the bill, so don´t be in a hurry. One has to go inside and wait for the cashier......

cucina italiana,piatti romani,ottima carne,pesce fresco e pizza alla romana,ambiente familiare.Qualità al giusto prezzo
We found this place by accident while trying to get out of the tourist-centric Tivoli and find some places where the locals went to eat. The staff barely spoke English and the menu was only in Italian (always a good sign), but we managed to decipher it enough to order. The waitresses were very friendly, as was the boss.Pizza is only available in the evening, but it's unbelievable. We had a white Pizza Patate (Mozarella, potato, and Rosemary) on the recommendation of the waitress. I was pretty dubious as potatoes on a pizza sounds stodgy to me, but when it came it was glorious. For â¬6.50 you get a large, very thin and light pizza, with a wonderful mixture of flavours, easily the best pizza I have ever had. Everything tasted fresh and homemade, including my other half's pasta, which was also homemade and scrumptious. It was so good we went back the next day for lunch. If you take a 10 minute walk from Tivoli to this restaurant you will be well rewarded.

Really a great place. We came a bit early and had to wait 30 min till they start (19:30). We were offered bread, olive oil, cheese and focaccia. Together with a bottle of good wine it wasn't a hard waiting. We had pasta carbonara and saltimbocca (specialty by chef). It was one of the best carbonara past I've tried. Stuff was vey friendly, overall it was great family atmosphere. And the price was more than acceptable. Highly suggested especially if you're tired after famous villas.Grazie mille a prestoSandrina
