This was a great surprise. It does not look great but the easy going atmosphere and great food really made it worth it. If you go order fish really the best. If you want a relaxed great meal this is a place to go.

First dishes: ------------ Palermitana spaghetti (pasta with sardines) Pens to Favignana penne with lobster penne with shrimp spaghetti or risotto with cuttlefish ink Spaghetti or seafood risotto Ravioli with lobster Penne alla tarantina Butterfly shrimp
We have tried it on the 2nd of September. We had 1 mixed starter, 1 pasta and 2 main dishes (sword fish and paranza fried fishes) a jug of white wine, 1 Sicilian cannolo.Quality: between poor and average:pasta was insipid, paranza was mushy.Result: 48 Euro on the back of the napkin, no proper bill, no taxes paid.

Waited for about 90 minutes become we got served on a Sunday evening, I believe the manager should inform customers as to the waiting times before making them sit. Price disproportionate to the quality of food, the service and, again, waiting times. Overall, pizza and sandwiches are great for a quick grab and walk.

Restaurant is under new ownership and has been renewed with very nice touches and different food varieties. Food is very very prepared, with delicate influences and a touch of class. New owner aims to please and was very helpful. Some local dishes available with home made pasta and typical Italian as well with very good and fresh ingredients used. Found pricing also very fair. Definitely worth return visits! Slightly outside of Tirrenia - but still within reasonable walking distance and some parking area is available along the street.

This restaurant was recommended by our hotel receptionist and we were not disappointed. We had booked a table for 7pm and when we arrived there were only a few other customers but by 7.30pm the place was full! The atmosphere was lovely. The menu was extensive (in fact too many choices in my opinion) and we all had different things but all were delicious. The waiter suggested local wines which were also really good. Our bill for 4 people came to 220 Euros but that included 2 bottles of wine!

Like my title states, this restaurant didn't leave a lasting impression... well other than maybe what I ordered was the worst gnocchi I have ever tasted. Yikes I know! ... but the atmosphere is what drew us in, but disappointingly the menu was priced higher than most, and food didn't uphold the price point. The gnocchi I ordered was tiny, bland, and underwhelming in all regards. Something needs to be tweaked in that recipe. Cheese plate was good, and others I ate with enjoyed the fried seafood. Service was good I will add!

We were recommended this restaurant by the hotel and had heard some other guests mention it was good, we were seated on a nice table outside. Staff were friendly and the service was good, lots of nice choices on the menu and wellpriced, my husband commented that the steak dish he has was one of the nicest steaks he had had in a while. Definitely recommend!

Monday night, off season so not a lot open. But, read the reviews and decided to try. We booked although not necessary but clearly it was appreciated. Seated and looked at the menus. We had the Greek salad, followed by the ravioli with sea bass and the risotto with leeks and gorgonzola. And wine and water. Service was lovely throughout. As we were eating many people came in, clearly local. Pretty sure we were the only native English speakers around. Finished with vin santo. A really nice meal at a reasonable price.
