On the plus side, this restaurant is in a beautiful setting, the building having been restored well, with a modern extension for functions. Great for weddings and parties, but not so great when you are having dinner in the restaurant and the only things between your table and the music, loud MC and part goers are a few wooden screens and some plants. Impossible to have a conversation with our friends, but we could sing along to the pop music! As for the food, it seems this place is trying to inject a modern twist to the dishes, but failed miserably. Service was slow, ice cold plates, really awful bread, a wine list that had no prices, food served either luke warm (how can you do that with pizza???) and a starter (olive ascolane) that were served cold in the middle and sent back.I could go on, but enough to say this had to be one of worst meals we've had in Teramo in a long time and we will not be going back. I wonder if they have changed their chef, as the reviews before December 2017 do not reflect the disaster we experienced last night.

This place serves home style food and pizza and it is really good. The portions are big and the price is right. The restaurant has a pleasant intimate atmosphere and the service is friendly and fast. I recommend this place if you are looking for great and simple food in a casual and relaxed environment. I will definitely will come here again.

A great rustic locale and an excellent dinner: frittelle with prosciutto, bruschetta, rosticini, formaggio fritto, thinly sliced veal topped with arugola lettuce, great wine, excellent desert. Great friendly service. It was a great culinary experience that I would recommend highly.

A must place to go!

Visited with family and friends while vacationing in Abbruzzo. There were about 20 of us and they just kept bringing pizza after pizza. Seriously some of the best pizza ever. Each pizza was a work of art - not your usual fare. Thin crust and done to perfection. Add a few pitchers of Italian beer and incredible family and friends and it was the perfect evening. But be aware, this place was packed with people. Evidently the locals love it as well.

We went with local friends, so they ordered for us - it was all fabulous. The local "table wine" was also amazing and probably would cost a bundle in the U.S. It was one of those great experiences that's hard to find in Italy in more touristy areas - eating with locals in Teramo was so much more fun!

I came back here with friends after ages: only the premises changed, much larger and more comfortable, while the taste is still the same old awesome one. Delicious "Antipasti" and "Secondi" but it's "Primi" which are really unrivalled. Forget paper menus, frills and refinements: the waiter/owner sometimes could seem rough, don't get him wrong and let yourself be conquered. Prices are extremely cheap and it's here that you can really enjoy the ultimate original Abruzzese cuisine.

Don Miguel is a typical Italian pizzeria. Our pizzas are naturally raised for 72 hours, made with italian flours, mozzarella di bufala DOP, fresh tomato and other high quality ingredients. Miguel Lecce is a pizza chef since 1988. His pizza is one of the b
Local college kid hang out...exceptional value and taste for a quick slice of pizza. No one speaks English but that is ok as you can easily indicate how much pizza you want and they cut and weigh it there for you. Seating is a premium so enjoy when you find a seat and soak in all the young people and their excited conversation. Great value!!! I am not sure if this is open at dinner because we went there once on a Saturday night and it was closed but it is definatly open for lunch each day. Wonderful location close to the square and on one of the cute little side streets

We've only visited once since it re-opened but will do so again very soon. The service as always is excellent and with the same core team front and back of house there is no way to fail. I really do wish these guys the very best of luck in their new venture and will be contributing to their success. There are many good pizzerias in Teramo, serving good pizzas so you have to chose based on what you want. Here the Pizza (generally wet), service (always excellent) and hospitality (always outstanding) are truly Neapolitan. Looking forward to returning.
