Find out what Pizza restaurants to try in Spoleto. A wonderful mix of remnants from its Roman and medieval pasts, Spoleto’s history actually goes back further to Bronze Age Umbria. Today, it’s best known for its annual summer Festival dei Due Mondi (Festival of Two Worlds or Spoleto Festival), honoring music, opera, theater and dance. Among the city’s many excellent historic sights are its first-century Roman amphitheatre, the 12th-century Duomo, 13th-century Ponte delle Torri aqueduct and the 14th-century hilltop fortress, Rocca Albornoziana.

We ate here the evening we arrived in Spoleto after a tiring day. Wanted some comfort food and we ordered pizza and salad. Really good quality and GF for my partner. Really good pizza base and well presented. They also do all the regional dishes and if the pizza was anything to go by.....

They specilize in truffles...Even though I ordered from the a la carte, I got to try everything on the menu..... Basically there was a group who were having some sort of party with heaps of primi, mixed grill secondi and various dolci dishes in a form of a set menu. Trays flowed past towards the group. So the owners/servers would walk past with great trays full of whatever dish, dish up for the party goers and then on their way back to the kitchen stop at every table and dish up the left overs. This way tray went into the kitchen empty..... But I was soon stuffed. The polenta in ragu with truffles is magnificent. My order of grilled lamb arrived and it was very tasty but I was too full to do it justice and played around with the salad I had ordered, trying to convince my stomach it could manage it. I had already ordered desert and it arrived, I tried the ice-cream and it was smooth as silk. Suddenly there was a plate next to me with a slice of each dolci ordered by the group. I had one mouthful of each just to try it. What a wonderful unexpected experieince. Now I am not saying this will happen everytime you stop by but it was a nice surprise for me.

We stumbled upon this place by accident while driving from Rome to Sarnano. The full field of cars intrigued us enough to try it out and we were so glad we did.The kids were well catered for with a lovely playground and lots of room to run around whilst we dined alfresco. The pizzas themselves were amazing. By far the best we sampled in Italy. The base was so light that it has to be tasted to believed. They're also great value - we payed â¬11.50 for two!Very disappointed to discover that they are not open for lunch so we were unable to repeat the experience on our return to Rome.

centrally located, this restaurant is hidden away in one of the Spoleto alleyways. The food is all authentic regional home made food and it is excellent
This family-run restaurant is very conveniently situated close to the Palazzo SantâAngelo in Via Monterone, where we stayed while in Spoleto. It has a very homely ambience where the food is honest and wholesome and the servings incredibly generous. You will not go home hungry. We ate here on two nights because it was so good. On the first night, we had the Papardelle with wild boar and the Stangozzi with funghi porcini. These were both exceptional dishes and exactly what we needed after our drive from Rome. We then had strawberries and panna cotta for our dolce. On the second night, we both had a huge bowl of zuppa di farro, which was seriously delicious and very filling, for our primi piatti and for our secondi, we had pizza quatro formaggi and the wild boar casserole served with very interestingly curved chips. We shared a bottle of Raina Umbrian Grechetto 2017 vino bianco. Great friendly service!

This pizza place is located right next to the fountain in the Piazza del Mercato. It is a great spot to grab a slice of pizza, or order a whole one to take home. You can eat inside (and outside in the Piazza during the warmer months). A couple of slices of their pizza and a beer only costs 6-10 euro. The men who work here have always been very personable and helpful. I love this place!

Very large restaurant. Mostly seems to cater to local families and larger groups. Most tables seemed to eat pizza or relatively low priced stuff, and jug wine. Even though there is excellent local wine, from Montefalco, which we recommend. While service is nice, with tablecloth etc., this is actually a relatively inexpensive place, not really fine food. Still, good value for the money, but reading some reviews here, one might end up with unreasonable expectations...We had a fiorentino steak. Which was quite impressive when it arrived at our table, and we mananged to finish the whole thing. Not bad, but we have had better. We ordered rare, but it came a bit more cooked than I had expected. Still, if in the area, this is a very acceptable option for dinner, especialyl at the price.

The location is pretty and very quiet. The food is really good and the prices reasonable. The ravioli, the lamb cutlets and the meat stew were delicious. I also highly recommend their pizza.

During a brief visit to Spoleto we discovered Silver Spuleti and had an amazing lunch. We had amazing pinserias (basically a delicious pizza) with local organic cheese and prosciutto plates. The chilled white wine of sagrantino grapes hit the spot and the service was impeccable! Grazie Silver Spuleti!
