Captain's is a great family owned & operated pizza place. They have the BEST chicken souvlaki, over salad that we have ever had. The family runs the restaurant, they are very hard working, and always there. This is one of our go to restaurants when we are with friends. Eat here at least once a week!

A Fairfield main-stay for over 35 years, Luigi's offers tasty traditional Italian dishes along with decadent creative special entrees. Luigi's is famous for its large rotating pizza oven that boasts slicing pizzas for generations of families.
Soda machines were down but not a problem for us. Servers were very attentive and friendly. All items ordered were hot and fresh canât beat the $7 lunch special. Will be back again.

Canât seem to get a consistent apizza experience here. Things have changed since Pepeâs has started franchising. We stopped in on an early Saturday night the first weekend in November. There were 8 people in front of us. It was expected. We waited 40 minutes to be seated. Meanwhile there was a steady stream of take out orders being processed and brought out. Our waitress came over to our booth as soon as we were seated and took our drink and food order. We waited. And waited. Actually 45 minutes for the apizza to be served. The line outside disappeared and the take out slowed down. We were puzzled as to the long wait. Our waitress said the pies that have meat take longer to make. That was her answer. Iâve eaten Pepeâs apizza since I was a little boy.....Many years. Never had to wait that length of time for a simple order of sausage and mushroom pie. To be fair, the apizza was good but, 2+ hours for this kind of (fast) food is not a reasonable length of time. This isnât a fine dining experience. I think management needs to give the kitchen some organizational training.

This is a take out place with a few tables. The food is surprisingly good, and not only the pizza. I have been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Calzones are great, sandwiches, great, and pasta, great again. Of course the pizza is also worth a try. The employees are pretty friendly too. Only minus is atmosphere if you eat there.

Try the veggie pizza. You won't be disappointed. The crust is delicious, too. It's not Pepe's but the wait isn't like Pepe's either. It's worth it to stand outside and just breathe in the aroma. And convenient for those who commute..

We like eating at Sammy's Pizza. They offer a full menu:appetizers, salads, many kinds of pizza, soup, wraps, sandwiches, entrees, desserts including ice cream and ices. We ordered a whole wheat crust pizza with low fat cheese and mushrooms. We like the thin crispy crust on the pizza. I also had a vegetable wrap. My husband had a grilled chicken parm hero. We enjoyed all the food and had good service too.

We stopped in for dinner with friends recently. We all decided to order what we thought was an individual pizza. They arrived and we easily could have ordered 2 instead of 4, we all had about half a pizza left over to take home. I ordered a white pie with spinach and ricotta...mmmmm so good! A couple of the others ordered the margarita pizza which they also enjoyed. Service was great, we had a really pleasant and helpful waitress. Will definitely go back, we want to try the paninis.

I ordered the daily special - with kale, goat cheese, cranberries, almonds and some other ingredients. It was yummy. The place is tiny and a little chaotic but I came at the noon rush. Seating is limited but blessedly most of the orders were to go.

I wanted to like this place but unfortunately I was just a huge miss. We went on a Friday and it was very busy so it took some time to be seated. It actually wasnât too bad about a 25 minute wait. Once seated our drink order was taken but nothing was explained. Finally we figured out the menu was essentially an advertisement left at the center of the table. Not a big deal we figured it out and finally put in our order, not a complicated order just 2 pizzas, one sausage and one cheese. It then proceeded to take close to an hour to get our pizzas. So even though it took so long we still was giving them the benefit of the doubt because I heard this place was good but the pizza was not good at all. Very thin crust which was fine but considering we waited so long I was really hoping it would be very good and it sort of fell flat. My sausage pizza literally had one piece of sausage per slice. It almost felt like they were rationing the sausage. Who does that? The pizza place we normally visit serves us a small pizza that has more sausage on three slices than this whole pizza had. Big disappointment, donât think I will be back. I think I will stick to my take out pizza place which taste way better and a lot cheaper and quicker. Sorry I tried.

We had a fantastic lunch here. They have many gluten-free options and the absolute best GF pizza weâve ever had. Even the gluten eaters enjoyed it. The salad was plentiful and fresh. The family raved about the fresh mozzarella. They enjoyed their sandwiches also. The service was friendly and helpful. Itâs a wonderful choice.
